I read this book about 7 or 8 years ago, it was probably published in the 90's or early 2000's! It's a fantasy where a girl is staying at some relatives farm, and the cat falls into a well and she follows him (or she does first and the cat follows?) and they're either transported back in time or to a renaissance period...anyway, the cat turns into a human when they get transported, and she pretends he's her squire (or something of the sort). They stay at some castle or something and I think there's an evil sorcerer and they eventually get back to their true time/place, but the cat turns back into a cat...I have a feeling the cat's name is simon, but I don't remember. Please let me know if you have any ideas what this is!!
