It's not permission, just including the AR info.

Though for Wonder it's "IL: MG - BL: 4.8 - AR Pts: 11.0"

It needs to be at least BL: 5.0 and AR Pts: 7.0, so it falls just below requirements for SRC tasks. (Unfortunate, because I know it's been on my TBR)

Task 30.5 requires that the middle initial of the author of book 2 be the initial of the middle name of the author of Book 1. The middle initial for Susan Kay Law is K. Therefore, the middle initial of the author of book 2 must also be K. So the pairing with Patricia A. McKillip will not work.

Never Never: Part Two appears to be part of a serialized novel. The Rules of the Challenge state: 7. Each book must be read completely and can be counted only once per challenge.
All elements of books separated into multiple audio or paperback parts (often identified as “Part 1”, “Part 2”, etc.) must be read. Individual chapters of a book or unfinished serialized books (released by chapter) cannot be used.

To count for points in the SRC, all parts of the book (parts 1, 2, and 3) would need to be read and claimed together for a single task.

So for clarification on this...re: Never Never Part 2...as only Part 1 & 2 have been published would it be eligible to use? Part 3 is not yet published. In the example books, book 1 is listed as an acceptable option so I took it as Part 2 as well. Would reading Parts 1&2 be acceptable or would it be ineligible until Part 3 is published? Additionally, does this infer that Never Never is not an option as listed? Thanks for clarification.

We've looked long and hard at this book and it's clear that it is one story split into three parts. While this may not have been totally clear with book #1, it's definitely clear with book #2. That means that under rule #7, the book can only be used after all three parts have been read.

Goodreads Author tickets will no longer be awarded. They have been replaced with:
20.4 GOLDEN OLDIES - Players may earn a ticket for each book FIRST published in or before 1950. A random ticket will be drawn from the ticket pool to determine who creates this task. Challenge finishers are not eligible for the drawing. Players must specifically request a ticket in the post by claiming "Golden Oldie" and stating the original publication year. See the current season's Posting Requirements for more information.

Unfortunately, yes, you're reading that correctly. Task 20.7 doesn't allow books with the genre "children's" to be used for it. If you do shuffle the book to a different task, remember to add the ARBF data when you post.

Task 30.3 - the edition of Lord Edgeware Dies that you've linked to is actually Lord Edgeware Dies and Towards Zero, which was published in 1976, not 1933 as you've indicated. I think the problem occurred between your post 1259 where you reported your total as 265. Up to that point, our totals agreed. At the end of that post, you listed you totals as: 235+30=265

The next post you made, post 1465, you picked up with: Total=325+80=405. And that's where our numbers started to diverge.

Here are the completed tasks I have for you:
5.2, 5.3, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7, 5.9, 5.10
10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.8
