SOLVED. Looking for a book about changelings. The protagonist is a college student who lives with a pixie (or something similar). [s]

The book is about a girl who I think goes to college but works for a supernatural organization. She is perhaps in her late teens or early twenties and lives with a pixie in a flat. If I remember correctly she rescues it and brings it home even though it is illegal to do so. Again I can´t quite remember but I think the organization tries to find changelings and then kills them. There might be something with portals as well but I might be mixing it up with another novel. And of course there is a hot boy in it. I read the book last year and I think it was relatively new then. SPOILER WARNING: In the end she discovers that she is in fact a changeling. It is appalling how bad my memory is, I can only say that I read it while home sick with the flu so my mind was a bit muddled at the time! It would really make my day if someone recognizes the novel :)
