The September book of the month is The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh! Can't wait to start discussing! Spoilers are welcome here! :)

Honestly, I'm having a hard time keeping interested in this book. I'm only just now starting to be intrigued by what is going on. I like reading about what is going on in the palace but I have zero interest in what is going on with Tariq and Rahim or with Shazi's Dad. My favorite characters so far are Shazi, Khalid, Despina, and the Rajput. I have a really bad feeling about Jalal and his Dad though. :/

So far this book is okay, it only just got a little more interesting. I have actually been more interested in the story she is telling him to stay alive than the actual story. I also have no interest in Rahim and Tariq's chapters they just have no relevance to the story yet.
I love Despina. I have a bad feeling about Jalal's dad but not Jalal atm anyway.
