L S In the beginning of TOG, I was so happy that Aelin ended up wit Dorian because like c'mon it's so cute that Aelin was able to feel all these emotions after being locked away in a mine camp at Endovier. But then in COM things go down hill and she falls for Chaol. Then THAT was WAYY more cute, but then they broke up. And I got to the point where Dorian was talking to Chaol about the whole thing with magic and how Chaol is indeed skeptical to Aelin's fae part and the fact that Dorian has magic. And I dwelled on that thought for a little longer and I agree where Dorian is coming from. THEN HOF came and then there's the love-hate relationship between Rowan and Aelin then the whole hting about them drawing each other's strength and the part where they both say they claim each other made me want to tear the book apart because that was just soooo good. So now I'm completely lost between who she will end up in Queen of Shadows. (which comes out soon *screams frantically*)

Izzy Exactly! I don't think Rowan and Aelin would be a good ship the way I think Dorian would have or Chaol. I mean Rowan is a good character but I think they should stay friends. I feel like Aelin is confusing everyones brain including mine!

L S same here !! ugh. but Rowan is so cute and he's very funny. But then Dorian might be over Aelin so .. Chaol on the other hand there's things that are still there and that they have to talk about .

Varsha So far, Rowan is my favorite character out of all the alive boys, (Sam was the best) but i have a feeling they are just going to be really close friends. I feel like Sarah made it extremely clear in HoF that they had no romantic interest in each other. Unfortunately. I think Chaol and Aelin are going to be together. Unfortunately. It will definitely not be Dorian because 1. he has the collar thing and 2. Sorscha just died and he loved her. I really really hope that Rowan and Aelin are together, but I just think it's not going to happen.

L S yeah. but Chaol is starting to annoy me. And Aelin's relationship with Dorian is like a close friend type of relationship. Rowan is still my favourite tho

Danny The perfect man for Aelin is Rowan because he is PER-FECT

L S And they draw strength from each other... and they're just cute together

Biancalekki Definitely Chaol. There are mountains to climb in all love stories. Like it has been said already, I think and hope Rowan is going to stay as a close friendship. And about Dorian, I have never really thought of it as a possibility since ToG.

Emmies So far Chaol or Sam would be my favourites. I did not like Rowan at first but he started to grow on me after Emrys talked some sense into him and is now one of my favourite characters.

Jojo I LOVE ROWAN!!!!!! He is the best and most perfect and understands and accepts her for who she is!

Brandi I'm probably biased because I read the original Queen of Glass on Fictionpress, but I'm sticking with the Celaena and Dorian pairing.

I mean, come on: she's a princess, he's a prince, and they'd be a magical royal couple (literally and figuratively speaking).

And if there is going to be peace between Adarlan and Terrasen (it's so weird that her country has an actual name now), then a political marriage between Princess Aelin of Terrasen and Prince Dorian of Adarlan would bring peace and stability to their respective countries, regardless of whether Aelin or Dorian still have feelings for each other or not. If this series is going to have a happy ending for almost everybody, then this union makes sense because when kingdoms and countries are involved, the nobles and commoners have to be (relatively) satisfied with the pairing as well.

L S omg thats so true tho !! I just realized that and now that I think more about it IT MAKES MORE SENSE BECAUSE EVERY PRINCE DESERVES A PRINCESS AND DORIAN AND AELIN BELONG TO EACH OTHER . and if Dorian dies in the future then Aelin can end up with Rowan (just like in Infernal Devices) bc I think Aelin is Immortal

Is that what happened in Queen of Glass? The ending that you described for Celaena and Dorian?

Because I really can't see how the people of Terrasen would just be ok with being joined to the country that invaded and conquered them for ten year.

L S I ACCIDENTALLY SPOILED MYSELF and found out who Aelin ends up with !!. but I think the person who said it may or may not be lying . but I hope its true . except now the journey of finding out who it is, is gone .

That's not how the Queen of Glass ended. I never actually got to read the end of Queen of Glass because it was still a work-in-progress at the time (and I don't want to say where S.J. Maas left off for fear of unintentional spoilers); I was caught up with the story, reading the chapters as they were posted. But S.J. Mass never posted the ending on Fictionpress because she took it off the website so she could publish it. She had only just finished Part I of Queen of Glass before it was taken down. That's one of the major reasons why I looked forward to Queen of Glass's publication so much.

BUT the way the story was playing out, it looked very probable that Celaena and Dorian would end up together. While you do have a point about the people of Terrasen, I can't think of a counter that I could tell you without revealing major-league spoilers. Like spoilers about events that will probably unfold in the book after Heir of Fire.

Louren Well Rowan is aelins reason to live now as she is rowans and Dorian and Man on are obviously meant for each other
"It was like the world had stopped " that's what happens when they looked at each other

Michelle I don't care Rowan is not part of the "love-triangle" I am shipping him and Celaena so hardcore! #CelownForever

message 18: by Izzy (new) - added it

Izzy I loved Dorian! He was a part of the original 'love triangle' and I really like him and Celaena together but Rown and Alein are perfect! I know they are both the same person but they aren't at the same time, if that makes sense. Alein is more sure of herself and strong while Celaena is more broken.

Jess Reading Heir of Fire right now and I am sooooooo team Chaol. By the end of six books they had better end up together or I will cry, then scream, them hunt down Sarah J Maas. In that order
