Calling all the experienced bloggers

Hi!
First of all i'm not sure i'm in the right folder but i hope I am.
I'm pretty new to all this (my blog is barely a week old). So i'm turning to all you more experienced bloggers. Since it's a book blog I will mostly review books but I don't want to JUST review books because sooner or later it becomes boring. Do you have any suggestions on what else I can do in my blog?

There are a lot of memes out there. I recommend the following:

-Waiting on Wednesday
-Stacking the Shelves
-Top Ten Tuesday

I think they're the most popular ones. There are also book tours which you can sign up for and you can choose to do an author guest post, an author interview, a character interview, giveaways. You can do discussion posts wherein you talk about books or anything to your fancy. Book tags are great too.

I also review movies and anime I've seen, which breaks up the books a bit. I second discussion posts, though it may take quite a while for your community to catch on to them.

I also try to stretch a bit with the kind of books I review, to provide a bit more variety and challenge myself.

Hmm... memes usually. Some people do movies or manga/anime. Others do gaming, which I might add but I'm a bit hesitant. But I do book blitzes and tours over at Bookwyrming Thougths.

Meme's, author/other blogger interviews, blog tours, and discussion posts are how I usually break things up so there is always new content and it doesn't become monotonous.
