This book is for first chapter book age children. It is about a mouse and his mother that have to find a new place to live and end up in a secret city of mice under a rose bush. here they learn about test mice that escaped from a lab and built this city.

Did she even find the right book? The Secret Of NIMH is the book about the movie, and Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH is the actual book.

They printed Mrs Frisby under the movie title as well. If the author is listed as Robert C. O'Brien, the content will be the same regardless.

Yes but the first version that pops up when you search for The Secret of NIMH is a version by Seymour Reit.

Interesting, I never realized there was a book, I loved that movie I use to watch it with my dad growing up. I got a copy and now my little guy watches it, I guess I will need to find/ get the book to see how it compares to the movie.
