Cheating? Does Ayden have a girlfriend/mistress on the side?

I have just started reading this book and on the very first page the girl mentions the guy having spent his day with his "mistress". Now, I've heard really great things about this book but I really don't want to read it if there is cheating involved or even if they have some sort of "understanding". So I was wondering if someone could tell me?

There is no cheating in this series. Beth refers to Ayden's company as "his mistress" as it takes so much of his time.

Thank you, ladies! I had the same concern with the "mistress" so I was very close to not purchasing the book.
