Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments YIPPEE! I am getting all excited for this one! Never saw it before you offered it up as a buddy read. I can't wait!

message 3: by Emma (new) - added it

Emma | 2089 comments It looks great, I found it because someone posted a review of it. I like finding books that way :)

message 4: by Vicki (new) - added it

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments I love letting people like you find good ones and I just get to join. LOL I don't have a lot of extra time to look for good ones, so I love having so many buddies to find potentially good ones. Thanks!

message 5: by Emma (new) - added it

Emma | 2089 comments Ah, good plan :) leaving the time for reading, that's good. I get a lot of them from ARC's or see them on blogs.

message 6: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Trisha | 30284 comments this one looks so good! I can't wait!

message 7: by Vicki (new) - added it

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments You know, I hardly ever read blogs. It is so time-consuming. Computer activities just take SO much time out of my busy schedule. But that's a good idea!

message 8: by Emma (new) - added it

Emma | 2089 comments Having a blog helps, means I can skim through all the blogs I follow and just read in depth the ones I fancy. Or ones with covers that take my interest.

Emma | 2089 comments When are we rescheduling this to?

message 10: by Vicki (new) - added it

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments I just got the book from the library! YAY!

Are we rescheduling? I don't know when then. I am open to whatever you and Trisha want/need.

message 11: by Emma (new) - added it

Emma | 2089 comments I can start soon then if you got it, was rescheduling to give you time to get it :)

message 12: by Vicki (last edited Oct 01, 2015 10:42AM) (new) - added it

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments I got it and I read I Say There Friend

After screwing up on City of Bones I'm afraid to read anything else. LOL

message 13: by Emma (new) - added it

Emma | 2089 comments Lol it's okay, you didn't screw up, just took me by surprise lol, there's three of us that are still rading it so it cool. I've seen worse lol, people who read it all in one go and don't even put spoilers, not that annoys me a little, no point in doing a buddy read then.

message 14: by Vicki (new) - added it

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments Or they read the whole book and their only comment is "I'm done." Lol

message 15: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Trisha | 30284 comments I am starting this one tonight if that's okay!

message 16: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Trisha | 30284 comments so, looks like the chapters are chapters with chapters within them.

I plan to read through V :)
I'll post soon

message 17: by Vicki (new) - added it

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments Trisha, that is about 117 pages, right?

message 18: by Emma (new) - added it

Emma | 2089 comments wait chapters within chapters? Why can't it be simple lol

message 19: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Trisha | 30284 comments ha! I know, but it is pretty simple
It just has roman numerals for the chapter and then sub parts within with numbers

so chapter II has a 1,2,3. 4 & 5 and so does Chapter IV
I just didn't want you guys you guys to think when you got to 5, that that's where I was :)

ya know?

Yep!

Trisha | 30284 comments Through V

Holy moly, the writing style of this one is wonderful. It's a small town and it's a man telling a story to a stranger who is lost. He has the person sit down and listen to a tale. and it's a wonderful way to read it!

The girls(view spoiler)

Reverend and the other(view spoiler)

this one is really good, thick with small down ambiance, misconceptions and chaos. I'm loving it!

message 21: by Emma (new) - added it

Emma | 2089 comments I've only read the first chapter or sub chapter, not sure I like the style lol but I'll see i it gets better.

message 22: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Trisha | 30284 comments Through 10 chapters

I was wondering (view spoiler)

And I'm starting(view spoiler)

message 23: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Trisha | 30284 comments ha! I'm done!
I loved this one

Bucky(view spoiler)

Yeah(view spoiler)

this kind of reminded me of a Stephen King book - not full of swear words but just...the small town and watching the small town people and how they handle a crisis. Some of them do well....and some....panic. It's a good one!

Can't wait to see what you guys think!

This reminded me SO MUCH of Under the Dome! I think you'll like it too Vicki!

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments Really! I didn't expect that to be the case. I did like Under the Dome! YAY! Can't wait to dig in!
