Come here for a leisurely swim. There are also two jacuzzi's/hot tubs next to the pool.

Halaena walked into the pool area with a sigh. She couldn't believe what she had overheard. Though she had left the Ball Room, she had overheard the way the Queen spoke to Nicolas and was shocked.
Savannah had noticed that Halaena had left the ballroom, and had decided to go after her. "Halaena?" She called out softly, stepping into the pool area. She then saw a familiar figure. "Halaena? What are you doing here?"
She turned around and put on a smile, not showing her distress at all. "Hey Savannah. I was going to go for a swim. It's OK, I asked Nicolas if I could." Halaena walked over to her happily, or at least, mainly happy. "I was just making sure I knew where it was, so now I can go and get into my togs. Want to join me?"
Savanna chuckled softly. "Well, I don't have a bathing suit, I think, and I'm not a good swimmer," she admitted. "I never realy had the time to learn," she muttered. She did seem real incompetent, right? She sighed. "I guess I could try."
She nodded at her words. "Neither do I. I was planning on going to change now actually." As Savannah said she didn't know how to swim, she waved her hand dismissively. "Oh no bother, I'll teach you. You'll be as able bodied as me in no time." Halaena gave her a friendly smile. "No need to fear, because I am here."
Savannah laughed at her words an nodded with a soft smile on her lips. "Alright than," she chuckld softly. "I'll go and look if I have a bathing suit ready and than I'll come back."
She smiled and happily jumped slightly. "Wonderful. I shall go and check my closet as well. If you don't have any, though I'm sure you will, come and see me. I asked for some not long ago and they should be there." Even though it ground her gut painfully, she did ask her maid for something. Halaena just wasn't the type of person to use 'slaves', as the Queen had called them on her arrival, but she desperately wanted to swim while she was here. It was relaxing to her. "Lets get walking then."
'Alright, well come back here as soom as you're ready," she smiled and walkd to th xit with Halaena. "Don't take too long," she teased, chuckling softly. She walked back to her room. Fifteen minutes later, she got back to the pool area an waited for Halaena.
Halaena laughed softly. "Where else would I go in togs?" Shaking her head amused, she walked swiftly to her room and changed. Returning to the pool with her towel, she at the corner of the pool, swishing her feet in the water. Hearing Savannah return, she smiled. "I didn't take to long, did I?" Her tone was joking because she had gotten there first.
Savannah pouted. "Don't be mean. My closet is just too big, I couldn't find anything," she chuckled. She wore a summer dress with her bikini underneath, slippers on her feet. She smiled and than pulled her dress off. She out the dress on one of the chairs. Sh was wearing a yellow bikini with an abstract pattern.
Halaena laughed softly. "Oh come now, mine is the same. It honestly amazes me that these woman could make so many dresses, in such a short amount of time." Standing up, she walked over to a chair not far from Savannah. Her dress was a mid length, lighter green, chiffon material, designed to flow out behind her as she walked. Removing it revealed a bikini in the same color. Folding it swiftly, she placed it on the chair next to her towel. So much work went into it, she didn't want to ruin it.

Savannah chuckled and shook her head stubbornly. 'No," she chuckled. "Mine is really big," she murmured, smiling sligtly. She walked over to the pool and tested the water with her foot, dipping it in. "Oh, it's nice," she smiled.
Halaena nodded and smiled at her action. "That it is." She walked to the pool edge swiftly and dived in gracefully, only a small splash showing what had happened. Gliding under the water a fair distance, she turned over and broke the surface. "Jump in."
"Jump in? You know you're saying that to a person who basically can't swim," she said, eyebrows raised in amusement. She slowly got in, one leg at a time, holding onto the ledge as she got in. "Oh god, I haven't swum in ages," she breathed out, glancing at Halaena. "You're so good at this, it's not fair," she chuckled.
She smiled at her amused. "Yeah, I am. Look, it's not that deep here." Halaena stood up and the water went up to her shoulders. "It's deeper on the other half of the pool. As for being good at swimming, I'm no where near as good as a Two. They swim professionally." Ducking beneath the surface, she swam beneath the water next to Savannah and leaned against the pool edge. "When was the last time you swam?"
"Uh... okay," she muttered, slowly making her way over to the place where Halaena was standing, so she could stand there too. She relaxed as hwr feet hit he bottom, and smiled slightly. She chuckled at her last words. "Well... like... four years ago," she grinned slightly. And it hadn't even been that deep
Halaena followed beside her smiling. "Four years? That's not so bad. So, what can you remember being able to do?" She floated on her back looked at Savannah.
"Well, if you think about it," she murmured, chuckling softly. She thought about her question for a while. "Well, I still know how to swim, a little, but I can't reall remember other things, like not panicking," she chuckled
She nodded. "Alright. Well not panicking is simple enough to do when you get into the rhythm of swimming again. Do you have a preferred type of style that we can build up on? It will be easier to make your feel more at ease in the water." Halaena have her a smile and stretched her arms up above her head, cracking her back a little.
Savannah chuckled and nodded at her words about not panicking. "That's true," she admitted, smiling slightly. She knew she should just relax, but it was harder than she thought. "Well, I guess," she murmured. 'I don't like lying on my back yet, but we could do the most simple one?"
She smiled and let her legs sink below her, allowing her to stand once again. "I honestly think that floating on your back is the easier thing. Well, either that or treading water. But, if you mean actually swimming, I'd say freestyle."
"Yeah, freestyle, I guess," she chuckled softly, running a hand through her hair. She was still a little nervous, but at least she wasn't as bad at this as she was at swimming. "Alright, well, I can float on my back than," she murmured.
((Okay so Savannah is in her room for some 1x1 with Dante too, if you don't mind? Because you weren't replying as Dakota haha))

The queen had finished changing and put on a robe on just a minute ago; she headed into the pool area.
((Sorry, I didn't get a notice lol I am actually about to do 1x1 with Dante as well. So I'm just going to time skip this, that OK?))
Halaena smiled. "Lets get to it then." She helped her to float on her back and then helped her with her freestyle. It was pretty easy once you got the hang of it. After about an hour, she hauled herself out of the pool. "I think I need a rest." Standing up, she smiled and dried herself , getting back into her dress. "I have to go. Can we hang out later?"
Halaena smiled. "Lets get to it then." She helped her to float on her back and then helped her with her freestyle. It was pretty easy once you got the hang of it. After about an hour, she hauled herself out of the pool. "I think I need a rest." Standing up, she smiled and dried herself , getting back into her dress. "I have to go. Can we hang out later?"

The queen took her robe off along with her slippers and got into the jacuzzi.
Savannah had a fun time, swimming with Halaena. She was getting better at it already, with her help. After an hour, she got out after her and smiled at her question. "Yeah sure. Where do you want to meet up?" She asked her, ringing her hair out. She really liked hanging out with Halaena, it was fun.
Halaena smiled. "How about the gardens? They look great at the moment, yet I haven't been to see them yet."
Savannah nodded and tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear. "Yeah sure," she smiled happily. "I've been there before. It's beautiful."
She quickly dried her hair, which was still dripping around her. Looking up, she noticed the Queen was in one of the Jacuzzi's and quickly looked back to Savannah. Her opinion of the Queen was undetermined at the moment, and she didn't want it to show. "Perfect. You know, though we are technically competition, I'm glad we can be friends. What town do you come from?"
"I'm glad too. I don't really like the fact that we are seen as competition," she smiled ruefully. "But we can't do anything about it," she sighed. "What town? I come from Arizona. That explains my tan," she chuckled softly. "What town are you from?" She asked. She hadn't noticed the Queen yet.
She returned her rueful smiled and nodded. "I dislike it also. However, you are right, nothing can be done about it." Halaena looked at Savannah's skin and nodded. "You are correct, I can see why you have such a tan. I'm your neighbor, so to speak. I come from California. That would explain why I swim."

The queen sat down and put her head back so that she was looking at the ceiling. Her mind started to wonder about who she would want to eliminate after, this was her opinion.
Halaena looked at the Queen, noticing her change in position. She seems to want privacy, so I guess I shouldn't disturb her. Although, if I might be chosen by Dante to become his wife, shouldn't I know his mother?

Victoria hummed quietly so that no one else could hear her. Her mind soon changed to wondering about all the conversations she has had with her nephew Nicholas.

The gardens before dinner then." Walking over to Her Majesty, she cleared her throat only loud enough for her to hear and curtsied. "Hello Your Majesty. Do you mind if I sit?"

The queen was startled as she had not of heard Halaena walk up next to her. She put her head back up to see Halaena, "Of course. Is something the matter?"
She shook her head. "Not at all, Your Majesty." Sitting down next to her, she smiled a little, not sure if what she was about to propose was alright. "I was just thinking, as one of the girls here is going to marry your son, would it not be important for you yourself to get to know us as well?"

The queen looked at her, "Absolutely, so what would you like to know about me?" She asked the selected girl.
She looked a little relieved that she hadn't done anything wrong. "About you? Well, I am not sure. I rather thought you would want to know about me and see if I am worthy for your son." Halaena looked thoughtful for a moment and then smiled a little. "How did you meet the King?"

Queen Victoria tilted her head back, "I met him at one of his the gatherings his parents put on. My mother made me go even though I just wanted to stay home. So an hour after the party started, he asked me to dance, I looked into his and he looked into mine. And then we danced all night...." She started to trail off.
Halaena smiled to herself. It sounded really amazing, kind of like love at first sight. She never really believed in that though. "That sounds magical. May I ask why the King didn't have a Selection like Dante is having?"

"Well, I really don't know how to answer your question. I never really thought about that to tell you the truth." She smiled at the girl, "I know, it was magical." She sighed, "meeting Alexander was like reading another book."
She nodded smiling back at her. "I was thinking the same thing. Like a romance novel where there is love at first sight. What would you like to know about me? It's not far to ask you questions without receiving any in turn." Halaena believed in equal trades, kind of like always repaying a favor.

Queen Victoria took a quick glance up at Halaena, "Okay, is there anything you like to do?" She asked the selected her as she stared back up at the ceiling.
She nodded and leaned back in her chair, looking at the water in front of her smiling. "I love reading, and working in my little garden at home is wonderful. It's nothing compared to your magnificent gardens here though. The plants are all edible, even edible flowers. Kind of like a small project of mine. Making the most that nature has to offer me. You can probably guess I enjoy swimming as well."
