I just started reading PIVD today and I'm pretty charmed by Vera's voice. I'm not a book jacket reader but I'm not really looking forward to discovering why Vera went from loving to hating/being angry with Charlie. This is obviously where the story is going. So far this book is reminding me of The Perks of Being a Wallflower and a bit of Big Girl Small for the strong female voice. So far, so good!
