I am really enjoying this book. I'm wondering however, how accurate is the presentation of high functioning autism. Does anyone have any input on this?

Still, each individual with autism is unlike anyone else, and this book capitalized on the uniqueness of Genevieve.
Coping mechanisms are different for each individual, and certain things can trigger a panic-attack like state. I'd say it's not too far from what could possibly happen, as far as coping mechanisms go.
