When to reply to email?

There is a 24 hour rule for replying to phone messages. Faster is better. However, with email, it is always better to wait a minute. Think about a response, spell check, and proofread. I think it is good netiquette to wait at least 15 minutes. What do you think? http://www.NetworkEtiquette.net

I always reply sometime the same day.

I was being a little bit of a keyboard coward by not writing to reply same day. There is a good case for same day replies to professional email. It depends on how digital you are.

It probably depends a lot on time available and the urgency involved.
