Hi guys, when I try to open dashboard page on my website - akmichaels.com - I got the infernal 500 internal server error. I tried to just get the site up putting in akmichaels.com and got the same error. What do I do? I've raised a ticket on GoDaddy but wondered if there's any tech whiz's out there that can help? I am absolutely useless re websites etc so any and all instructions have to be 'idiot proof' for me to be able to follow them!

As you probably already know, the 500 internal error mrssage is a common HTTP message for a non specific problem that is associated with the programming of your website and unlikely to be anything to do with you.
Best thing to do is raise it direct with your website provider.
Trouble shooting you can try is to is reload the web page - it can be only temporary.
Clear the browser's cache - it's rarely likely to be this so make it a last resort.
Delete your browsers cookies which may be interfering and reload page.
I'd be inclined to leave it a few hours and re-try. If that doesn't work take it up with GoDaddy(?)
Not sure if that's ny help but we start to run to the limits of my HTML code knowledge!

Thanks Jules, I've tried the reloading etc, hav sent a ticket to Godaddy so hopefully they will sort soon. I am so bad when it comes to websites etc lol
This has gone suspiciously quiet for four days - and I've heard rumours of uncollected milk bottles and newspapers piling up on A.K.'s front door step. Do you think we should send someone round?
