Hi to all you avid readers of dystopian / apocalyptic fiction, This is my first book and it will be part of a series. I was not in a position to have it professionally edited so it is a bit raw and moody. I would love some reviews, honest ones so if you would like a free copy please advise me of your email address so that I can send a copy.
It is set in the UK after a virus has wiped out 98% of the global population causing a few victims to mutate into night runners, preying on the survivors. It is not an action packed novel although there are moments of combat and escape. It is from an introspective viewpoint of the main Character, Gail, a man on the verge of falling back into a madness that gripped him as the world collapsed around him. It is a tale of hope and survival , a medley of small details and moments in a cruel world as he wanders,scavenging to survive. He meets others and form a common goal to reach a castle in which to build a community to stay safe as each night falls.
