ABANDONED. A boy and his friend who want to join a graffiti gang and the boy's father has died in an accident involving trains/ railway

This is a book about a boy and his friend, who both want to join a graffiti gang. They sneak into the bus parking, and both 'tag' the top of buses. The boy's father was a train driver, and died in a railway accident. The father kept a model of a railway at home, which the boy continued to build after his father's death, but after his mother finds out about the graffitying, she destroys the railway model with graffiti, to teach him a lesson. The boy's friend's sister is part of the gang, and she doesn't want her younger brother to join. The ending takes place on the railway tracks, and something happens with the live rail.

I read this about 5 or 6 years ago, set in the early 2000s/ late 1900s , and it's either children's or teens
