Can you also complete the information about it please ? It's an original book, it's not translated from an other language.

Publisher : Autrement
Publication date : 12/01/1992
Pages : 207
Language : French
Format : paperback

Thank you.

I notice the name of the author is not complete. It's written : I. Thobois. The full name is Ingrid Thobois.
I believe this cause the book not to be link to the author's file as if I. Thobois is a different person than Ingrid Thobois. Can you fix this problem ?

I also think that https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... should be combine with the first book.

Here is the picture for the book #2 : http://www.editionsphebus.fr/l-ange-a...

Can you add the picture of a book please ?

Picture --> http://www.amazon.fr/Hans-Hartung-Beg...

Book --> https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Can you also add these information about the book please ?

Author #2 : Cristiano Isnardi
Date : 2007
Summary : Hans Hartung (1904-1989) observed the world and reality with the same abstract sensibility with which he painted on canvas, seeking to draw from them a formal representation not only through painting and engraving, but also through architecture and photography. Through over 200 paintings realised between 1922 and 1989, this catalogue offers a reinterpretation of the work of a great 20th-century abstract artist who is known for his innovations in painting, but whose experimentations with different artistic and creative areas have remain unexplored. The catalogue offers a 360-degree view of Hartung's long and prolific career, presenting the artist not only as a protagonist of the art informal movement, but also as a multifaceted artist interested in pushing the boundaries of other art forms as well. The book includes drawings, photographs and other archival material, and offers an intimate look at the artist, through the study and presentation of the places in which he lived and worked.

message 28: by Glen (new)

Glen Hannah (ghannah) | 10 comments Hi, please excuse a dumb question if this is one. I'm keen to scan book covers in my collection and make them available for Goodreads. I noticed some of the books I've reviewed didn't have covers and that's what got me keen. Anyway, I'm not sure of the best method. Can I just upload scanned photos to my Flickr account and post a link to that photo in this forum with the request for a librarian to add the cover?
Is that permissible? Are there any specifications or limitations on image size? Happy to be directed to an FAQ or post on this question but I couldn't locate one. Any help appreciated.

Yes, that is exactly the right thing to do.

There is a point at which GR will say the image is too large but I forget what the limit is...as long as it fits on your screen it should be fine.

Thank you.

Can you also add some information about the book ?

Pages : 539

Can you also add the proper blurb please ?

message 47: by lethe (new)

lethe | 16372 comments @Michael - With awards it's always best to check whether it's the correct name. Sometimes there are slight variations, resulting in a lot of awards with only one winner. The award you added doesn't appear in this list for some reason: https://www.goodreads.com/award/show/...
The knowledgeable people working on the awards (see the awards folder) may be able to help.

message 48: by Michael (new)

Michael Korleone (michaelkorleone) | 3881 comments Hello lethe,
I just checked the official site of the awards and found the book & award mentioned there :)

http://www.bdangouleme.com/444,palmar...

Should I update the award name as following instead?

Prix du Festival d'Angoulême for Fauve d'Angoulême Prix Special du Jury (2014)

message 49: by lethe (new)

lethe | 16372 comments Better check first what the correct name is here on GR. I don't understand why it doesn't show up in the list, I thought as long as Prix du Festival d'Angoulême is the same, it doesn't matter what you put after 'for' (although uniformity is good).

I know very little about awards, that's why I usually ask in the awards folder first.

message 50: by Susie (new)

Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments The second award has been updated (the awards can be merged, like authors, but always best to make sure that the info isn't deleted) and have added the category back. :)
