So I tried to add a new edition of a book, because I searched its ISBN and nothing came up, but instead I've accidently created an entirely new book, and I don't know how to fix it. Every time I try to combine it, it just takes me to the author page, and I don't know what to do!

You have to be a librarian to do that :) So just copy-paste here links to edition you created and one you want it combined with and I'll do it for you.
