V. Fox | 67 comments I'm researching the book titles and authors I couldn't recall last night.
Alas, Babylon was written by Pat Frank. We read it in our sophomore English class. I wasn't excited about having to read it, but it ended up being a very good book. I think I'll try to reread it soon.
James Patterson is an author of adult books who is now writing Young Adult Literature. A few years ago I read Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life to my ESL class. It was pretty good. The protagonist, Rafe Khatchadorian, gets in a lot of trouble with the help of his friend, Leonardo. The ending was quite unexpected by me but wonderful. There are four books in the series. I have the second one but haven't read it yet.
Donna Parker at Cherrydale, Donna Parker Special Agent, and Donna Parker in Hollywood are a few of the Donna Parker books by Marcia Martin. You can buy a new hardback copy of Donna Parker at Cherrydale on Amazon for $89 or a collectible copy for about $6. I read these when I was a young teenager.
