It all depends on where the goat is from.

message 53: by Evans (new)

Evans Light (evanslight) Lorn is definitely a goat in a human suit.
Keep your friends close, and your future goat overlords closer.

message 54: by Evans (new)

Evans Light (evanslight) Who are the goats fighting against?
Last I heard, the future itself.

message 55: by Evans (last edited Mar 16, 2014 10:49AM) (new)

Evans Light (evanslight) More evidence that Lorn is a goat: when he was a kid, they called him Eddie.
Did you catch the clue?
When he was a KID! HA! Gotcha Lorn!
If he was truly human he would have been a little boy.

message 56: by Gregor (new)

Gregor Xane (gregorxane) | 35 comments It's goats versus everything and everyone, really.

Evans, now that you've exposed Lorn, you may want to board up your windows and doors and scatter those tin cans around the perimeter of your home.

Adam Light (goodreadscomadamlight) | 66 comments The Mad Monster Party has been a huge success so far. It has been really wonderful to hang out with my brother, as well.

message 77: by Steven (new)

Steven (tbones) | 592 comments Great to hear...someday you'll have to have a party like that out west...or at least do a book tour this way :O) Oh hey have any of you guys read anything by a guy name Jesse Wheeler yet? I just read an extremely disgusting story by him in Dinner At The Vomitropolis

message 78: by Angie (new)

Angie | 225 comments Do you mean omg this is nasty but I can't stop reading disgusting or its to awful to read disgusting? If its the first then I'd most likely read it myself:) I'm really pleased The Mad Monster Party did well Adam:-) did all your books sell out?

message 79: by Adam (new)

Adam Light (goodreadscomadamlight) | 66 comments Hey Angie. We put together an omnibus collection under the Light Brothers which was exclusive to the Mad Monster and they sold out much earlier than we had anticipated. Our individual books sold quite well also. All in all the experience was overwhelmingly positive.

Evans Light (evanslight) Checked Amazon, paperback edition went on sale today.

message 85: by Evans (new)

Evans Light (evanslight) Thanks, guys. The book doesn't have any new material beyond the contents of Screamscapes: Tales of Terror and Toes Up, plus Don't Need No Water, Cry Baby, Candie Apple: A Halloween Tale and Tommy Rotten: A Halloween Tale.

Adam and I wanted to make all of our short form work available in one omnibus collection prior to the release of our novel in the coming year.

Not yet. Even though the story arcs are set, we're at about 50% completed on the project at the moment. Hopefully we'll be recruiting beta readers by mid-summer. Thanks for the interest. We're really excited about this one.

Hit me up when you reach out for beta readers. Mr. Parent can attest to the fact that I'm just the jerk you need to beta read your work.

Steven (tbones) | 592 comments Hey do you think that people taste like an M&M to a zombie? If so I wanna be a zombie cause M&Ms are fantastic...oh and I bet this next title coming out is gonna get devoured like one too :O)

I can attest to that. Gregor is thorough and no bs!

message 94: by Evans (new)

Evans Light (evanslight) Thanks! I look forward to it being ripped to shreds.
Constructively. ;-)
I can see Gregor's note now: "No."

message 95: by Evans (new)

Evans Light (evanslight) But seriously, I will gladly take you up on the offer. You only get one first novel, after all. I'd rather it be a good one. In fact, I'd much rather deliver a single stellar novel than a whole pile of crappy ones.

Cool. I'm looking forward to reading this thing and providing whatever help I can. You need jerks as beta readers. Mr. Parent is really good at being a jerk, too.

message 97: by Evans (new)
