Hi everyone. Just want to reintroduce myself for it’s been a while. I see there is some old friends of mine on here still so I will be checking out what everyone is reading to get some ideas! Need to get some horror back in my life.😜

Hi everyone, I'm April! I live in Texas with my hubby and fur child. I love to read pretty much anything! I read a lot of Stephen King growing up and love the horror genre. I feel like I have a hard time finding good horror books these days, so I am hoping this group can help me with that. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and reading some good and creepy books! :)

Hello all! I'm Amy, a mom from Boston, MA. I love and adore all things horror, am wildly inappropriately into video games for a middle aged lady, and due to some big life changes I've actually just joined this group (my first book club yay!) and am starting to get back into things I love to do. Looking forward to January reads and catching up.

Hello everyone.I'm Laura, 34, a special education needs teaching assistant from Leicester.
I've been on Goodreads for a few years, but never really used it properly until last year, when I did the Reading Challenge - 52 books, just made it with a day to spare!
So obviously I love reading. I did my degree in English Lit just so I could read tonnes of the classics and gothic fiction! I like most genres, except crime and biographies (with the exception of music ones; Bowie, Cobain, The Beatles and Pete Doherty I've made an exception for).
I also love all animals, listening to music, long baths and thunderstorms. I mainly read horror, and am just starting to read more Le Fanu and Machen. Any suggestions always appreciated!
Hello! I've been a member of GR for more than three and a half years and have spent a good portion of that time complaining about the lack of horror books that scare me like Stephen King's did back in the day.Good thing a post in this forum by Matthew appeared at the top of my feed a couple of days ago. Being a member of eight groups you'd think that it would have occurred to me to find an active group of like minded individuals that love horror. A novel (pun not intended) idea but nope :)
Welcome Victor--I don't think you'll find any shortage of suggestions here, as well as monthly group reads and listens, and author promo reads, as well!
