welcome to the group Hannah, Elka, Rebecca, and Matt. Aww Elka, don't be shy just jump right in! I recently moved and after repeated coincidences with the name Mary, I decided to call my house Mary's Rest. yes, I name EVERYTHING!
Hey everyone Jarrod here, thanks for accepting me and nice to meet. I’m here to meet some new friends and get some good recommendations. I have never been much of a reader, but I’m slowly changing that now. I read a few books last year and hope to read more this year. I look forward to getting to know the group and again thanks! 👍
Hi I'm Shelli (AKA Xania Boreanaz) Author of Romantic Horror.I love horror stories, demons and angels are my favourite but I do love the old good vs evil. I also love vampires.
I am a lady of a certain age and I live in Wales UK.
Hello Everyone! My name is Jess, I'm from Canada! I've loved horror for as long as I can remember!
I woke up from a nap on the floor of my cousin's living room at the tender age of 6 to a bloody scene in Dracula, and the rest I suppose is history.
I've had goodreads before using my facebook which I no longer have, so now I'm starting fresh! I look forward to recommendations from this group.
I would say probably 75% of the books I read are horror, but I do like other genres on occasion haha I may not be able to keep up with the amount of group recommendations each month but I will surely try! At this point my goal is two read 2-3 books a month! I truly wish I had more time to read but work and two little ones keep me busy, so now I have to put an effort into making time to read.

Welcome, Jess. You're not alone in the time crunch for reading. Cherish those quiet times after putting the little ones to bed and before you konk out yourself. The key is a quality tale of fear in your lap and you'll get plenty of great recommendations here in HA!

Hi all, I'm from Pennsylvania. Horror is my favorite genre in terms of films and PC games. My reading preferences are a bit more eclectic but horror is one of them. I'm a Fannibal (i.e. fan of the tv show Hannibal), and enjoy the books and films as well as the show.
Thanks everyone!! So happy to have joined!! Welcome to Dannibal as well! I’m also a fan of the show but I have yet to watch the final season I simply don’t have enough time in the day!
Hello everyone. My name is Angelo, I'm from Tennessee . I love to read Horror and True Crime. I'm looking forward to making new friends and hearing everyone's reviews and opinions on the books we are all reading.
Thanks everyone! Hi Jess, welcome to you as well. xD Hopefully you'll get around to seeing the third season of Hannibal soon. (We've not given up hope on a 4th season). Hi Angelo!
Hi all! My name is Matt. I am a Junior at the University of Arizona, pursuing my degree in veterinary science. I love horror, thrillers, fantasy, and sci-fi novels. I have recently gotten into making my own beer, and I am also a big fan of tea. I love to cook, garden, and catch up on TV shows when I am not studying or working. Some of my favorite horror novels include Birdbox by Josh Mallerman, It by Stephen King, Horns by Joe Hill, Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris, and Intensity by Dean Koontz. Nice to meet you all!
Welcome, Matt! I, too, enjoy Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris. :D Have you, by chance, seen the show Hannibal?
Dannibal wrote: "Welcome, Matt! I, too, enjoy Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris. :D Have you, by chance, seen the show Hannibal?"Unfortunately, I haven't. It does look intriguing though!
I would highly recommend it! :D It is a prequel to the books (well, minus Hannibal Rising), so it takes place when Hannibal is a free man, working as a psychiatrist (and of course an active serial killer/cannibal).
