Elizabeth, I grew up watching B-movie horror and sci-fi from the 50s, 60s and 70s mostly starring Vincent Price or distributed by Hammer. I especially liked the Quatermass series and The Last Man on Earth.

Hello, everyone! My name is Tia! I love the horror/thriller genre, anything macabre really! In any medium: books, tv, movies. I'm looking to make friends who enjoy horror as much as myself as my close friends don't really appreciate my love of the genre! :) And hopefully find some more amazing recommendations along the way and/or possibly do my first buddy read as my TBR is huge right now!

There's also a fairly recent thread for Halloween reading recommendations. Hang out for a bit, and you'll get all the recommendations you could possibly want. :-)
The group also put together a list of the top 101 horror books as nominated by the group, but unfortunately I'm not sure where to find it now - little help, someone? :-)
