Hey this is Alec Johnson from the Kansas City area. I have loved reading Stephen King books since I was a kid and have almost every one of his books. I just recently started getting into Dean Koontz books having just finished the first Odd Thomas.Last year I wrote my first self-published novel. I published another one in January and am working on another as we speak.

Hello everyone!I'm Jennifer, and from the UK. I'm a huge horror fan and so I'm very excited now that I've found a horror group on Goodreads.
I grew up on horror, I've been a major book worm since I could read and I devoured the horror section of my local library before I was old enough to get my adult library card (my Mum hired them out for me). I think I might have read pretty much all of Stephen Kings books.
I've kind of deviated away from horror over the past few years, dipping my toes in other genres so I'm hoping this group pushes me back to where I belong.
I'm looking forward to chatting to everyone!

Hello,I'm Nick Younker and I have a lifelong love of horror fiction. I am also a recent author, but my book is nowhere near as good as Blatty, Blackwood or Kadrey, at least in my own opinion.
I'm from Indiana and I have spent 15 years in journalism, now writing for an online news aggregate as well as my own website. I usually only write about horror industry news (books, film, TV, etc.). I also write articles about dark fiction, sci-fi and time travel. Time travel is my second favorite genre of fiction.

Hi everyone. My name is William. I write horror and thrillers for mature readers and YA fantasy for a younger ones. Had a stint in the film industry writing movies, but man is it rough out there. Jeff,I hear you. I have the same problem. I recently read Last Days by Adam Neville and that was the first book to give me a fright in a long time. If you haven't read it yet, I recommend checking it out.
