As far as I know I have nothing planned on when I would read it. I was supposed to message Lily when I started the 4th book and when I was half way through it. Then we were supposed to pick a date.. and she never responded.

If you want to do a BR with the next book we can do it whenever. I would just have to ask for the thread to be reset.

Ch 1-7 - Well...I wish I hadn't left so long between finishing Heir of Fire and starting this. It's all coming back slowly and I read a brief synopsis of HoF, but...some parts are still blurry.
Is Aelin's extreme anger at Chaol warranted? I've just read pages of her blaming him for everything and trying not to 'rip his face off', but...was everything just his fault? Ugh...
On the plus side, we're right in the middle of the action, so it's already intriguing!

Of course not! She doesn't seem to care about anyone who's not a lover, relation or best friend, why would she ever try to put herself in someone else's shoes?

Ch 49 - Can I just say - I find Aelin obnoxious! She's so rude to everyone! And of course she plans everything on her own, everything works out perfectly, she's just 100 times smarter than everyone else. Naturally. Of course, she has to be really arrogant about it as well.
I really like the plot, so I'm curious what will happen, but Aelin's personality is making it very difficult for me to really enjoy her chapters.
I don't remember her being like this in HoF... Was she?

Wow, those last 20-odd chapters were so fast paced! I wish more of the book had been like that. Wasn't crazy about it - mostly because I just didn't like Aelin (but other reasons too), but I didn't hate it either. Promising set-up for EoS!

I cant beleive Aelin almost killed Dorian, but thwn again she thought he was gone for good. I dont though. Hopefully he makes a come back.
