Thank you, Now I am reading Next of kin by Sharon Sala very good so far however it is hard to read when you have a active puppy that always wants to play when you are trying to read.

Ora (oeamis) I am almost finished with Tangled (Tangled, #1) by Emma Chase and will be starting Emerald Desire by Lynette Vinet next.
Absolutely love Tangled. I love Sebastian York narrating. Will definitely continue with this series. I am so happy my library has the series on audio.

I haven't gotten around to read Outlander. It has so many mixed reviews that I keep putting it on hold.

I think any YA heroine who is not vapid and obsessed with boys gets a high rating from me :P

message 125: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha, that's true! I mean, she was just a person worried about her mom. She did not even care about her image in high school and that was so *Awesome*

message 134: by Ramla Zareen (new)

Ramla Zareen Ahmad | 27 comments I recently read Sophie Kinsella's latest publication: I Owe You One I Owe You One by Sophie Kinsella and was pleasantly surprised.

I say this because I was a big fan of Sophie Kinsella at one time. The first five or six books of her Shopaholic series and her standalones:
—Twenties Girl
—The Undomestic Goddess
—Can You Keep a Secret?
. . . are among my favourite romantic comedies. (Saving I've Got Your Number for later to read as a special treat. My friend assures me it's as good as the books I mentioned above :-)

But then her writing just seemed to have lost its spark. The later books of her Shopaholic series didn't appeal much, and her standalone: Wedding Night actually felt like it was written by someone else! I simply stopped reading her books altogether.

I'm glad I picked up I Owe You One, though. It wasn't a five-star read, but I could see some of her original spark in the book. Looks like I'm going to get my favourite romcom author back after all :-)
