Life Anew is a strict Christian conversion camp for "radically changing the life of those who suffer from the evils and destructive nature of same sex attraction or gender confusion with reparative therapy." The front facing aspect of the "therapy" is a positive Christian setting focusing on helping teens and young adults change their ways and learn how to "come out straight" in reality, there are some very dark practices going on at the camp.
Muse A is an almost adult (16-18) whose parents have forced him to go into treatment at the camp after discovering his feelings for another boy. His parents are fundamentalist Christians who believe in quiverful theory and have many many children. They are strict in their beliefs and harsh with their kids.
Muse B is a young adult (19-25) who has been at the camp for almost a year and has gotten good at fooling the counselors to believe he has changed. Having grown up in a strict household, he felt the need to change, but has grown more and more skeptical of their methods.
Seeing how vulnerable Muse A is, Muse B takes the younger male under his wing, trying to keep him from getting too hurt. The friendship grows quickly and then turns into a little more. Will the pair be able to keep their love secret? Will they break free?

REQUIREMENTS:⤷ roleplay partners must be eighteen or older, as i am an adult and do not feel comfortable roleplaying with anyone who is under the age of eighteen.

➳ as an twenty-one year old who identifies as genderfluid, and goes by they/them pronouns... i do not take kindly to people who bash on the alphabet mafia solely because we are part of the lgbt+ community. not to mention, i work a minimum wage job, and can barely afford to live on my own at the moment, so i don't have many resources at my finger tips. i am also white as a goddamn piece of paper. so no discrimnation of any kind, at least not directed at anyone else, feel free to discriminate me cuz i could care less.

Muse A has been through a lot in their life and comes with a lot of baggage from their past, and it's not over yet. Having been bounced around in a lot of foster homes, they aren't exactly easy to get along with and tend to hold others at arms length- that is until they meet muse b.
Muse B has had a somewhat privileged life- but that's not to say it has been easy. Growing up in a home where siblings seem to come all the sudden and sometimes are taken away has been challenging, and so has the relationship with their parents. Not always getting along with the foster children their biological parents bring into the home, Muse B has been going through a bit of a rebellious phase as of late, and it it's like them. Normally a well behaved and tame teenager, Muse B is getting in touch with their wild side lately and Muse A certainly knows a thing or two about the wild side.
The spark between the supposed foster brothers was immediate and undeniable- and cannot be stopped by any attempts made. And the timing couldn't be more perfect with Muse B looking for an avenue to lash out in and Muse A being much well versed on the party culture that Muse B hasn't ever experienced.
✣ Character Selection: I would like to play muse A
✣ Gender Pairing: I would prefer this to be a MxM plot but I am open to ideas about it being another pairing. I am also non-binary myself so I am open to that as well as long as it's not a fetish thing (sadly from past experiences I have to say that.)
✣ Character Ages: Muse A would be somewhere between 15-17 and Muse B would be 16-19 but we can discuss more once we get talking!
✣ Relationship Dynamics: Even though typically with foster sibling plots the foster sibling is often times seen as the more submissive character I am looking for a bit more of a complex relationship here. Yes, I would prefer that the bio child is older than the foster child, but Muse A is much more street savy and would be the one exposing Muse B to many things they have never experiences or experimented with before, so it's not just a lost puppy getting taken care of by the bio child type fluff. Not hating on fluff, because I will want comfort and care to be a huge part of the relationship too, just letting you know that I won't make it so that Muse A is constantly the one being looked after by Muse B.
✣ Plot Building: I have a lot of ideas and options for us to discuss about the plot and I want to build the world and plot with you as well, so don't think everything is super set in stone. Let's talk about what you'd like to implement and see if we can't build an awesome RP together! I am also open to not planning everything ahead of time and just seeing where things take us, so long as you don't throw a huge shocker in there without discussing it first, haha.
✣ Mature Themes/ Trigger Warning: This RP may include mature topics such as substance abuse, underage drinking & smoking, sexual assault, physical or emotional abuse and so on. If you are not comfortable with these topics that is okay, but this is not the plot for you.
✣ Sexual Content: I expect this plot to have a sexual component to it and will expect my RP partner to actively participate in RPing out these scenes. If you are not looking for that then again please do not contact me about this plot. I do not want to fade to black or have a non-romantic plot line for this one. I'm not saying I want to jump directly into the sexual component, but if you don't want to RP that out, then please don't start the plot with me.
✣ Age: Please only contact me if you are 18+ as I am over 18 and feel uncomfortable speaking with minors over private message or private group.
✣ Activity: I cannot promise you that I will be posting every day and I don't expect you to either. I have a life and a job and other responsibilities. While there may be periods of time I am able to post every day I more than likely won't be posting every single day. I will do my best to be consistent and when I do get on put up a decent chunk of a post so you have enough to work with and I expect the same. I don't believe in minimum sentence requirements as some periods of time require less text while other points need more, but I won't just give you one liners and I would hope the same from you.
✣ Literacy: I'm not going to harp on grammar or rake you over the coals for spelling mistakes, all I ask is that you give me understandable complete sentences and we are all good. I'm not perfect and I don't expect you to be, but we can both expect to be able to understand what the other person in saying.

Muse A is a troubled human- they have been struggling with their mental health for a long time- but now something has made them break apart entirely and they are involuntarily admitted to psychiatric facility. It seems as if everything in their life is falling apart even more than normal. All hope seems lost until the meet their psychiatrist, Muse B.
Muse B is a young psychiatrist who is incredibly gifted and talented- having graduated early and allowing them to be one of the youngest psychiatrists in the facility. They haven't always had an easy life, but they don't allow most people to see that. Whatever is in their past is the key to why they became a psychiatrist; maybe one of their parents suffered from a mental illness or maybe a sibling, it's up to you.
It started out as the traditional relationship between patient and psychiatrist but things quickly escalated leading to a romantic entanglement. There are many potentials for things to get complicated quickly.
✤ Roles:
I want to play Muse A that being said, it doesn't have to be a straightforward thing where Muse B is over Muse A. If that is something you would like to do, we can, but there are ways to make things more even.
✤ Ages:
I am okay with age gap relationships if that is something you are into, but we don't have to have an age difference in characters if you are not interested. They can be the same age or Muse B can up to a year younger than Muse A and of course Muse A could be younger than Muse B. I do have limits, however, the biggest gap with an underaged characters is Muse A being 15 and Muse B being 20, but no bigger than that age gap if Muse A is under 18.
✤ Gender Pairings:
I am okay with pretty much any gender pairings; they can both be women, both be men, nonbianary, ect. I am also okay with heterosexual pairings but if Muse A is going to be male and Muse B female I would ask that Muse A be at least a few years younger than Muse B.
✤ Mature themes:
This roleplay is only for those who are 18 years of age or over as it will have many mature topics in it and I am not okay with RPing with those under 18. This RP will have mature sexual scenes and if you aren't okay with this then this isn't the plot for you. Of course we will also be discussing mental health so if that is something that will put you in a bad spot, please take care of yourself. Only PM me if you are truly interested in this plot and know you will be okay with it.
✤ Availability:
I will probably not be online every day. I work in healthcare and like everyone else, we are understaffed. I use RP as a form of stress relief, so I don't want you to expect me to be online every day and I won't expect that from you either. We all have lives and that's okay. If I am ever to be offline for more than three days I will let you know unless it's a sudden unforeseen event and that's what I ask of you.

The promise Muse A made was the most important type of promise. It was the most important type because not only was it made to his life long best friend. The promise he made was to look after his friend's brother (Muse B) if anything ever happened to him. The two best friends went into the military together like they had done everything together for most of their lives. And even though Muse A was one hundred percent sincere in his promise, he never imagined he would have to follow through with it. It might seem strange to some, asking another mid-twenties guy to look after your kid brother if something happens to you, but he had good reason. The only one looking after Muse B was his mother who while she does her best, is severely mentally ill and often unable to care for her son.
Unfortunately, Muse A will have to fulfill that promise a lot sooner than he ever imagined; when their convoy encountered an IED. Muse A survived, but he lost his leg in the process and was left with a traumatic brain injury. When he is finally able to return to his home town he then has to face the kid brother of his best friend- who isn't exactly a kid anymore. Muse B has always had a crush on Muse A but has never let it be known, and now they are both grieving over the loss.
✤ Roles:
I honestly am okay playing either role right now, but that might change if I start the plot with someone else and play one role in that one, if you know what I mean.
✤ Ages:
I wouldn't want them to have too much of an age difference, but of course it is the younger brother so Muse B will be younger than Muse A. We can go about it two different ways. If you prefer that Muse A still be under his mother's care we could work something out, but for the most part I think it would make sense if Muse B was 18 and Muse B was like 20-23.
✤ Gender Pairings:
I wrote this as a MxM plot and I would like to keep it that way. If it's something you really want to change maybe we can work on something.
