This is tricky as I haven't actually read this book. It is a novel, probably written in the last 5-7 years. There is some sort of accident which results in people being stuck in traffic. One of the characters is on the way to their own wedding when the accident occurs. There is only one eye witness to the accident and they can't be found. Part of the plot is how some of the people's lives intertwine. The cover is a picture of a woman with a bag or back-pack over her shoulder, walking down a road. Possibly a lot of red on the cover?
