Lucy Mason (lmason17) | 174 comments I've posted this on another GR group, but I much prefer being neat and having all of my challenges together!

This is my A-Z author challenge. I have no time limit on here, so it has already taken nearly two years! My only rule is that it has to be a book from a library not already on my to-read list - a complete wild card!

A- Life on Earth, Sir David Attenborough

B- Little Black Book of Stories, A S Byatt

C- The Bloody Chamber and Other Stories, Angela Carter

D- The Palace of Illusions, Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni

E- A Good and Happy Child, Justin Evans

F- Then We Came to the End, Joshua Ferris

G- The Ice People, Maggie Gee

H- The Boy Who Taught the Beekeeper to Read: and Other Stories, Susan Harris

I- Goodbye to Berlin, Christopher Isherwood

J- My Dirty Little Book of Stolen Time, Liz Jensen

K- The Genius, Jesse Kellerman

L- Shadowmagic, John Lenahan

M- Cloud Atlas, David Mitchell

Didn't manage to get any further in 2012, whoops!

2013:

N- Vurt, Jeff Noon

O- Foreign Bodies, Cynthia Ozick

P- The Dante Club, Matthew Pearl

Q- The Streets, Anthony Quinn

2014:

R- Anthem, Ayn Rand

S- The Three Weissmanns of Westport, by Cathleen Schine

T- Hodd, by Adam Thorpe

U-

V-

W-

X-

Y-

Z-

Unfortunately a pretty poor show last year - I really would love to finish this in 2014.

My favourites were definitely The Palace of Illusions, A Good and Happy Child (SCARY!), The Ice People, Shadowmagic, Cloud Atlas, Vurt, and The Streets.

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) Good luck Lucy! If you need one for T, The Thief of Alwaysis a pretty good read and it is the first YA book Clive Barker ever wrote before he did his Abarat series. It is pretty good.

Lucy Mason (lmason17) | 174 comments Thanks for the suggestion, Amber!

I'm quite nervous about what I'm going to do when I get to X... :S

Aitziber Iasa, Qiu is the family name. :) I think Lucy may just have to read Xinran, but she seems to be the superior writer anyway.
