I mostly forget about Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language I learn years ago since I never use it now. And in some part they have similarity I used to mix them all together, lol. I had a Chinese grammar exam but I answered it with Japanese. I didn't even realize it before my teacher told me! :D

Hahaha, I thought it only happened to me! Remembering it now I can say that it was hilarious but at the time I was so embarrassed :D My teacher was like "Rachmi, what language do you think you learn now?"

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90980 comments Mod
ha ha! that's quite rude! My spanish teacher used to swear at us in spanish because nobody knew what he was saying.

That's exactly what my youngest sister does whenever she disagree with my parents and her sisters. She instantly speak German, though I don't understand her at all, I can tell that it's a curse word.

Oh, another similarity? Maybe you should write it down and see how much it similar to H&A at the end of the book?

And agree with you, this book is quite dull and unrealistic to me.

Yeah, it was very similar which bugged me. It could easily have passed for a Home & Away episode. The brothers were soo much like the Braxston boys it wasn't even funny. I couldn't help picturing the Outlaws as them. :)

This seem like them?? :)

Hehe, I can guess it too and the weird thing is the way they handle it. This book has so much weird things that unbelievable and unrealistic.

So you've finished it?

message 66: by rachel, x (new)

Those boys are yummy :D the different is that the Outlaws are triplets so they have to look the same one to another.

You kidding!? Aha it has like thirty season, been going on and on for years now. They are alwayssss swapping actors and getting new characters etc. etc. Its a big Australian thing but its kind of one of those drama things. Like soap opera but wayyy better. Pretty unrealistic, fluffy nonsense but its addictive! :)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90980 comments Mod
It's a bit like Neighbours Rachmi, have you ever seen that? I haven't watched it in years but my mum still watches it. I think they need to remove the 'perfect' from the tital of this book. 'A Mess' fits it so much better.

Ahaha! I love that. Yes, that would have been more fitting. Did you read the blurb about the next one? Its about Verity and Boone and the next one is about River Pearl and Braxston.

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90980 comments Mod
Yeah, I've got the second one already. I'm not desperate to read it after this though.

I haven't seen Neighbours before but I love Home & Away. Its kind of a guilty pleasure of mine since my mum thinks its "trash" and isn't keen on people watching it. But oh well, it great! I loved Dex and I cannot believe he's gone now... :(

message 78: by Abi (new) - rated it 3 stars

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments My nan loves it, so i watch it with her. She likes home and away too, but that's my favorite out the two. :)

They show it over here 3 / 4 weeks after Australia.

Dex was hilarious! April annoyed me sometimes though.
(view spoiler)

I'm addicted to Australian programmes.
I loved watching Medical emergency (Which Roo from home and away voiced over!) but it's finished now. :(
And there's so many vet programmes on there! I love them.

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90980 comments Mod
Yeah, its not on netgalley. In fact the first one isn't even on netgalley anymore, its been archived.

My mum stopped us from watching Neighbours when Gabby gave birth while we were eating our dinner one night. but that was a looooooooooong time ago.

Are you kidding me? :D thirty season? no way I'll watch it. I don't have that much patient to watch that long :D I'll pass it thank you, even when you love it Rachel :D

Haha! Not a nice thing to eat dinner too!

My nan used to watch them both when they both started. There's videos of me as a baby with it on the tv in the background.
She stopped watching Home and away for a while, but she left it on one night after neighbours because there was nothing on.
That was about a year and a half / 2 years ago now and we've watched it since.
I can't believe Alf is still on it! He's been there since the start.

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90980 comments Mod
Alf is still on it? yikes! I don't really remember it much, I think it lost popularity over here when it got switched to channel 5, which half the population couldn't even get!

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments Yep! Still using his ridiculous lines.

Coleen was still on it too, until about a year ago. She won some money and moved.

I think Pippa was still in it the last time I saw it!

I absolutely looooved Dex. He was my favourite!! April could be a bit of a pain and I really don't like Sasha.

Oh wow! The wait must be annoying. Oh so you wouldn't know what happened this week! Oooh I'll just say that there are some exciting stuff coming up!!

Oh and I like Ricki too. (view spoiler)

Involving Heath, Bianca and a new character. Well, I don't know how far behind you are so I don't know if you know them but I am assuming if you are 4 weeks behind us you won't know about this. Oh and Kyle too. There is also some other of the normal drama stuff.

Spencer's brother. Chris. He won our X-Factor. He is a singer (not very good one) so I don't know why he is acting... :/
