Kat (katrogiers) | 5 comments What's the policy when an author republishes their book, changes the cover, title and blurb, but doesn't mention that it's republished?

These books are identical, but there's no mention of 'Dr. Zach's Hot Fireman' being the same book as 'Fire Dreams'. I guess it could be considered a strategy to disguise and republish the same book when it never took off on the first attempt, but it doesn't seem genuine to me. In this case, it has led to at least one reader buying/reading the same book twice.

Fire Dreams

Dr. Zach's Hot Fireman

lethe | 13571 comments I think it should be added as a new edition to the old book.

Krazykiwi | 1767 comments If you're sure, I'd combine them. Those synopses are clearly the same story.
