A bunch of us will be reading this book as we continue with our goal of reading the entire series. Love to have others join us!

I will be joining. I enjoyed rereading the first book, so I'm excited to reread all the other books too.
I haven't started this yet. I'm reading several other books, and this is a reread for me, so I'll start it once I've finished some other books first.
I forgot what you had said in the Sorcerer's Stone thread. Are you finished Sorcerer's Stone, or are you still reading it? If you're still reading it, and the rest of us aren't ready to read this either, we could probably push it back.
I'm not sure. I will try to do it on any date that we change it to, so I don't really know how far to push it back.
How about during the readathon? That way you have a week to finish the first one, plus it's a great book for a readathon, not too long, sequel so it's lots of points...Or is that too late? When are we supposed to start the Prisoner of Azkaban?
Perfect! Book 3 isn't till April 4, so I'll change the book 2 start date to March 24. Great idea! Thanks!! :)
Vicki wrote: "I don't think Dawn is in it still. Should I change the start date?"I'm still in. I've just not started it yet. Though I have been carrying it around to read, just haven't started it yet. *too many review copies and not enough time*
And I'll join in on Azkaban as well, I just have to locate that one...
I am glad to see that we do have a thread here. I am going to read this one for the readathon week. I'll be starting it either tonight or tomorrow.
Elizabeth, of course, we'd love to have you! Have you read book 1? We are about to start book 2, and some of us (like myself) have never read a Harry Potter book nor seen the movies; others are re-reading. Either way it's a really fun read!
Finished book one during the readathon, on to book 2 tonight. Chamber of secrets was my least favourite of the movies, we shall see how I like the book. Haven't read it since I was 15 so I don't remember much

Yes, I've read book 1, and this is a re-read for me.

The acting was still pretty bad and there was just a lot of crazy things going on in the story that were hard to make sense of in a movie.
I got to Chapter 5 last night. I love that I have these books on audio books thanks to Mandiann :)I will always love (view spoiler)
I just finished this one. I love how early Rowling started putting things in place for the series ending.
I listened to the audiobook for all but a few chapters. I love Stephen Fry. He does such a great job reading!
Many times. But not this year. Sorry, I was admiring Rowlings writing while being cryptic and not giving anything away. Should I hide my comment in a spoiler?
up to chapter 12 (view spoiler)And the (view spoiler) is my favourite my favourite part of the book so far (view spoiler)

*blushes from embarrassment* I haven't begun it, but I plan to today. Promise! LOL I'd already planned to start it today. LOL

Yes, that part is really neat!!!
I haven't exactly started it yet either. LOL. And I love reading your reactions.
I also love how JKR is setting things up for later. Looking back I've never realized how many important things are discovered in the first two books.
Just finished :) I have a feeling that this will still remain my least favourite movie and book, although the book was good I found it lacked (view spoiler)
