SOLVED. Book about ghost children who meet up at the twin towers after they were destroyed [s]

I remember reading a book about a kid who died. The only thing I remember is that they found themselves at the Twin Towers, which were there because they had also perished from the world. A bunch of children were there and they repeated the same activities day in and day out.

I believe they remained ghost until they accepted they were dead and moved on, but I'm not sure of that.

I don't think the main character died as a result of 9/11. They just came upon the tower in their wanderings. For the life of me, I can't remember the title of this book. Can you guys help me out?
