Mr Berenson has an interesting viewpoint on characters. For the authors who are members of this group, I have a few questions.
1) How similar are they to you? Specifically in terms of world view.
2) Do they embody the qualities you would like to aspire too?
3) Is it a give and take process when dreaming up new stories to launch them into like Mr Berenson says?
4) Are they different from you and in what way?
Would love to hear your thoughts. The ability to create life from nothing but the written word has always been a major motivator for writers everywhere, especially in the spy thriller genre.

Amy Lynn is me. Her experiences were many of my experiences. Difference being she had the love and support of a good family. My book was an answer to what if? Physically? I created the woman physically I deem to be attractive however, I do not have sexual feelings for her. I wrote her while thinking of her as an alter ego or a sister.
Her adventures are sometimes based in reality, other times fiction. She is very real to me, I think of her at least once a day, much more when I am writing, of course.
What has brought her to life however, is not me. It is my readers. They only know her to be real. A REAL fictional character. Yeah. I scratch my head about that too.
