Discussion Part Three, Departures, Chapters 45 through 54 and the Afterword.

Sarah I really liked the part with the witch (view spoiler)

It kind of reminded me of Doctor Sleep a little. (view spoiler)

Michelle Holden | 115 comments I have just finished the book and thought it was excellent. What a philosophical ending. I remember always wanting to be older when I was young and now I wish I was younger so I guess the carnival would get me if it came to town! I thought this book was beautifully written although I did have difficulties with it when I first started reading. I am now looking forward to reading Farenheit 451which I have heard is an excellent book. I like books that really make you think about your life and what it means to you. I can really relate to Jim and Will as I have had friends in life that through no fault of our own I have outgrown - I found this happened when I moved away to University. This book made me wonder what my childhood friends are up to now.
