Hm... add number of chapters to the tracking list...
Anyone had books with plenty of tiny chapters? :P
Hahahaha oh ok. I thought you said it was 2am there. Go find some chocolate to cure your sweet tooth :P
So another team used The Book Thief for chapters goal. I remember someone in Barca (Joanne?) wanted to read it in first round. Wonder if that's still plan?
Catherine wrote: "Checked my multiple chapter books. Most i have is 74. boo!"I have one with 104 :) (adding note in case of future need)
It's Inferno. Let me check how many chapters previous book have. Maybe could reread something.
(Edit: they are even longer! *snorts*)
Oh, and I need to check James Patterson's books I have. He usually has plenty of chapters!
Or maybe Game of Thrones? :P
Patterson gets to 30 or goes over 100. So far closest is 95. Maybe if I don't read couple of chapters to get it to 90? :PStill plenty of books to check...

Shhh they are working again
I have no idea what's going on. They started crashing about week ago. I can't even point what happens to get them started. Anyway I keep getting error or reload/refresh message over and over again. Yesterday I was 'logged' in 10 times int one (those icons on top) :P
And if it keeps going for a while (20 mins yesterday) it crashes firefox too.
So, filmed in Canada not all of them are based on books obviouslyOnes I'm sure of:
Twilight series
Brokeback Mountain
The Colorado Kid (TV show haven)
Anne of Green Gables
Bitten
Dresden Files
City of Bones
Carrie
The Lost World
The Golden Compass
Cedar Cove series
Fifty Shades of Grey
The Vampire Diaries series
The Sea of Monsters
Or this is better link Was Your Fave Book Adaptation Filmed in Canada? and Part 2 :)
I'm on my phone but will be getting on my computer soon. I just finished a book and will post it soon. Not sure if it will fit any goals yet.

thank you for the info :)
Monica wrote: "I figure that would be helpful with the goals we have been getting."I've added columns in Barca spreadsheet for those. :)
Scratch that I checked and I can't use it.

If word count is over 40000 it works

I'mnot sure how to check that but I'll see.
Monica wrote: "I am afraid to make changes to the spreadsheet. Always afraid I will screw something up."You can always make new sheets and then work on them. Only things you can't change are those you got it with.
Besides if something goes wrong, you can always blame me and those crashes I'm having :)
☼♎ Carmen the Bootyshaker Temptress ☼♎ wrote: "I'mnot sure how to check that but I'll see. "Publisher site is usually good source for that. Or Ar Bookfinder
In this case I didn't find it, but since your book has 160 pages there is no chance it has enough words. It's mostly images with little text on page.
I think in first round we had 500+ pgs graphic novel and it didn't had enough words.
I don't think it will work but I finished Dead Until Dark Can you post it for me? I'm on the road and can't do it at the moment. Thanks
☼♎ Carmen the Bootyshaker Temptress ☼♎ wrote: "I don't think it will work but I finished Dead Until Dark Can you post it for me? I'm on the road and can't do it at the moment. Thanks":( it was filmed in California

Catherine I'm going to read that book so this way we can get rid of the So. Africa goals. I'm almost done with Split Second for the male author then I'll start it.
Tea thanks for the the countdown. I was wondering when this round was up. So we have a little over 11hrs before the next round. Woohoo!!
