Awesome task. I always wonder how the task makers connect the tasks at hand with many other things. Amazing. Kudos Chris !.. also congratulations on your baby boy turning 14.. kind wishes to him.. the teenage tussle starts ! ;)

Thank you. That sunflower definitely works.
Would this cover work for $20- green? There is tea in the cup on the seat beside the girl

She also has pink flowers on her shoes so maybe it also works for $5 pink

Rhonda wrote: "Would this work for yellow? I think 2 of the women on the cover are wearing hats.
"Unfortunately, I don't think those look like hats. The one on the left has some kind of hair covering but I can't tell. Sorry.
      Allison wrote: "$5 pink:
Does this work? Don't know what flower that is!"
Yes, that works as a flower.

Fiona (Titch) wrote: "Would The Baby Thief - L.J. Sellers work for $50?"Sorry, no that won't work. There still needs to be a picture of an infant on the cover.
      Pat wrote: "
Some Assembly Required: A Journal of My Son's First SonIs this ok for the blue option?"
Yes, that will work.
Helen wrote: "How about this one for hats?
there are several men's hats in the windows."Yes, I see hats.
Abigail wrote: "Would this work for $20/green/beverage on the cover?

Abigail"
Unfortunately we need to see the liquid in it. It's amazing the things you don't think of when you make this stuff up. Or it list the things I think of. Sorry.
Would this work for option 1 - $5 Flower on cover?
... there is a stylized flower in the center of her skirt, just above the author's name.

Okay, I'm trying again, and I think it's a lock this time around... Would this work for $20/green/beverage on the cover?
Thanks!
Abigail

I am so ready for spring! So I’ve decided to combine the season with our quarterly theme. Four of the denominations on American Monopoly money match task point values in the SRC, and their colors are all pretty pastel spring colors.
So for this task, think spring and read one book that meets one of these options.
$5 – Pink – April showers bring May flowers. Read a book where the cover shows a flower of any type or color. Required: Include the cover when you post.
$10 – Yellow – Yellow is the color I think of when I think of spring, and that makes me thing of Easter bonnets. Read a book where the cover shows a type of hat. It can be any type of hat but it can’t be just a head covering, so for example, a woman wearing a head scarf would not be acceptable. Required: Include the cover when you post.
$20 – Green – Mint green to be specific. That makes me think of mint juleps, the traditional drink of the Kentucky Derby, which takes place in early May. Read a book where the cover shows a beverage. Required: Include the cover when you post.
$50 – Blue – I love baby boy blue. In April, my baby boy will turn 14. Yikes! Where have the years gone? Read a book where the cover shows a baby of either gender. The baby must relate to the storyline in some way and "baby" or a synonym (newborn, infant, etc) must appear in the title/subtitle (ex: Baby on the Ranch, Bringing Up Bébé: One American Mother Discovers the Wisdom of French Parenting) or in the book description (ex: One Small Thing). Required: Include the cover when you post.
NOTE: Books with genre "Children's" or "Kids" that are at least 100+ pages and conform to all other SRC rules may be used for this task.
Required: Identify the option used when you post.
