Our book for reading in March is The Tragedy of Arthur. Here's what Amazon says about it (in part):

"... an emotional and elaborately constructed tour de force from 'one of the best writers in America (The Washington Post). Its doomed hero is Arthur Phillips, a young novelist struggling with a con artist father who works wonders of deception. Imprisoned for decades and nearing the end of his life, Arthur’s father reveals a treasure he’s kept secret for half a century: The Tragedy of Arthur, a previously unknown play by William Shakespeare."

That's all I know about this book and its author! I'm looking forward to reading it -- sounds like fun!

I just read the Wikipedia article about the author of this novel. Wow - he has chosen VERY diverse topics for his four previous novels!

I haven't quite finished this book, but I've read all of the so-called introduction and started the play. I'm curious to hear what others think of Arthur, the author, twin of Dana. Be careful to warn of any spoilers before you reveal anything important!!! (I'm thinking of one thing in particular.)

Did you enjoy the story? What did you think of Arthur's father?
