i like it and can't wait to see it this Fall. All the casting choices have been smart. I also like that Iris will be biracial too.
I've been really enjoying this series. I'm still a couple episodes behind, specifically the crossover with arrow and the winter finale, but it really seems to do a good job of keeping true to the comics while adding it's own style to the whole deal. It's kind of odd having so much focus being spent on Barry's secret identity, though, since it's always felt like that was less important in the comics, at least in the old ones...I'm not too up to date on current Flash stories, but it does add some fun things like how he can modulate his voice. All in all, I think this show will grow quite nicely as it develops into the rest of the season.
Some really fun new DC shows this year. Gotham's really shaping up to be awesome and I love Constantine, even though I think that show has very little chance of getting picked up for anything more than the original thirteen episodes.
I have enjoyed all the new DC shows as well. I really like Constantine it has good writers writing for it like David S. Goyer. Gotham has been good as well but lacking in a few episodes. Flash and Arrow are very solid.
I agree on Gotham. When it hits the mark, it does so fantastically, other times, the episodes really just seem more like filler. I have high hopes that the show will get past those early developmental hurdles quickly.
Well Gotham comes back Janurary 5 and Flash is Janurary 20 and Arrow is the day after. And HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!!!
I admit Flash just blows me away each episode and Arrow is just a solid show after three years. Constantine I enjoy but really just like Matt Ryan who is perfect as Constantine. He definitely makes the show works.
Barry Allen is my favorite character and, so far, I've been really happy with the show. I look forward to seeing more of Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold, and watching the Rogues develop into a team. :)However, I can't stand Iris. She's written terribly. I hope they bring in Patty soon.
I really like Constantine, too. I wish it had a better time slot. Right now I don't feel like it has a fair chance of continuing.
Constantine is definitely the odd man out, which I'm guessing someone realized once they started trying to find a timeslot for it. There've been a few similar styled shows in the past which, no matter how brilliant, just didn't gather an audience, not to mention how little response the Keanu movie got. He's just not a character that has enough pull to bring people in on his own, and the style of show (mostly, battling occult-related monsters) has proven time and again to not last on television. That being said...I wish it would.
Salvatore wrote: "Even some people who read comics don't know about Hellblazer or Constantine"I KNOW RIGHT well your in luck cause they just made a Constantine show
Salvatore wrote: "Even some people who read comics don't know about Hellblazer or Constantine"That is true, Hellblazer is not the comic that everyone can or will read and not sure the new Constantine book will bring in new viewers because what I have heard about it has not been good.
Madison wrote: "Barry Allen is my favorite character and, so far, I've been really happy with the show. Iris is the one for Barry I think since she has been such a major character for so long in the comics.
Steven wrote: "Madison, not sure if they will bring in Patty into this universe since she is still relatively new. If they brought Patty in, I imagine she'd just be a temporary love interest. But she's an awesome character and we need an awesome female character on the show, since Iris is not that. Caitlin is good, though.
Besides, the new Flash creative team is obviously working to replace Patty with Iris again in the comics. :( Poor Patty.
My thoughts about the characters and show in short I love the show.
I love Barry. He's not perfect but he's growing
I love doctor wells just waiting for him to become one of the reverse flashes because there are 2.
I love detective west.
I love Cisco just waiting for him to get his powers and become vibe
I love Caitlyn just waiting for her to get her powers and become killer frost.
I hate Iris but she links us to Wally. I'll get to Wally in a minute more on iris now.
Iris is stupid. She's bland. She's annoying. She needs to know Barry's Secret! I'm tired of the Thea complex in the CW super hero shows
I like Eddy. He's not not that bad of a character, but his only use is to set up the other Reverse flash. Also he might be Barry's long lost twin brother, and he might be the ancestor of one of the reverse flashes. THEORIES!!!!!!
Now to Wally. I am not racist.... I just want Wally to look like he normally does with his red hair so... I hope detective west has a white sister. I want the Wally I know when he comes in season 2 or 3.

YAAAAASSS I think all your opinions are completely right especially the ones about wally and iris i really do hope he has red hair or im gonna be dissapointed.
It's Amazing how well of a job DC television has done. It to me is far ahead of the Marvel tv product, although once these Netflix series come out that might change. I mean I think Arrow is the best comic show on tv and Flash has been quite the welcome addition. The Teen Titan show should be really good and I'm really hoping for a Suicide Squad spinoff. On the Marvel side Agents of Shield is really good this year, but they lost so many viewers during that first 17 episodes last year. Agent Carter is a timepiece without Captain America or any well known superheroes so I fear it's ratings won't be strong.
I do wish DC tv shared continuity with their movie universe... BUT not doing so has allowed them the freedom to tell their stories the way they want without having to worry about the movies. Think about it, the only DC television show handicapped is Gotham, and that's the one show I don't find nearly as interesting.
Right now Arrow CW

I've been so pleasantly surprised by The Flash. I admit I was nervous when they announced the actor that would be portraying the Flash. After seeing him as the leader of an all male accapella group on Glee, I didn't think he would be able to lead the show, but he is killing it! Can't wait to see how this season ends!

What? Not much of reason to just give up on a promising relationship.
Is anyone else looking forward to the big crossover next week?
I guess it's on hiatus this week because of the holidays...

Is anyone still watching these?
I have to admit that my life got too busy, and my son (who's 10) and I couldn't keep up with Legends of Tomorrow, though it was an interesting first few episodes.
And I was religiously watching Arrow until part way through this past season.
I watched the whole first season of Supergirl with my son, and really enjoyed it. We started the second season - but all we really had time for was The Flash.
And we're still really enjoying it - we finished this past season season and couldn't believe all the stuff that happened with Savitar. (We also DVR'd and enjoyed the crossover episodes with Supergirl, Arrow, and Legends.)

I've enjoyed the first two seasons of Flash and Supergirl's first season. I don't live in US so I have to wait for the DVDs to come out but I plan to continue with both shows. I really hope all of the crossover episodes will be in the DVDs.I've watch Arrow for four seasons but it's just so dark and depressing that I don't know if I'll continue.

Thanks for posting. Not sure what I think...but then it will probably be cooler in action.
