Hey .. My name is amna (but you can go ahead and call me mana) .. I'm from the United Arab Emirates and I love to read .. especially YA books .. I've started talking about reading a book with Kitkat and YA Bookaholic .. and after a while we agreed to read this book .. I'm glad we're all doing this together and I think I'm really going to enjoy this .. since I don't really have many readers around me .. basically the internet is were I find proof i'm not the only fangirl out there (hey fanboys .. I know you're there as well) .. so yeah .. feel free to ask me anything .. and I hope to get to know you guys and share this fun read with you .. Cheers!!

You can call me that or Kitkat, your choice. I'm also from UAE, and I developed an interest for reading YA books in 2012. Basically, I'm a huge book lover. I fangirl all the time, and I have very few friends who fangirl with me. Tbh, I've NEVER come across fanboys in real life xD I've never done a read-a-long before, and when Mana asked me if I wanted to do one, I was overjoyed. Yes, this is gonna be amazing, I'm so excited for us to start. Its a pleasure to do this with you guys :)

Hey, guys!
My name is Anastasya but saying it out loud is bit of a mouthful, so you can call me Asya or Ana. I read mainly YA (Hence my GoodReads username), but I read Adult or Middle Grade too, though not as often.

My whole family reads. A lot . And basically thats how I started too (Yes. I started reading Adult books before I used to read Young-Adult). My closest friends are book readers (and buyers), so we meet up to discuss and watch movies (Book adaptations mostly, but probably even any regular movies if they seem enjoyable)
We all recently went for Catching Fire and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

I can read 2 books a day if the books are enjoyable and addicting (One example being Frostbite and Shadow Kiss , which are books 2 and 3 of the Vampire Academy series. I have re-read the whole series at least 6 times. Now you know my favorite series)

Although me and my friends discuss a lot, we never had a read along. So I'm really excited for this!

Sweet!! I used to read comics as a kid but as many readers it was harry potter that got me started .. and after which twilight and the hunger games and the rest of the franchises .. but I do enjoy cheesy adult books every now and then .. I love Jill Mansell books for romantic chick flicks sort of thing as well ..

So yeah .. I fangirl mostly with myself and recently mustered up the courage to try and reach out to fandoms .. it's been a blast ..

if you're in AD .. we should meet up .. I know a certain YA movie is coming out this month .. what do you say?

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!!! I was sobbing when i realized this is the last time we're going to see the real peeta 3 I get what Collins was trying to do .. it really was a suitable ending but .. oh there are no words .. *endless feels*

I can't wait to see how things turn out in mokingjay .. on a sad note .. at what point of the book do you think they'll stop? .. and on a HAPPYY NOTE <3 .. THEY SAID THEY WILL UNKILL FINNICK!!!!! *fingers crossed*

i should just skip all of these movies and read my books .. maybe hit the marvel / DC movies coming up soon .. my my a lot to do this year lol

I think they might stop when the actual battle scene starts or a few chapter before. Save the best for the last.

There are 2 movies-as far as my knowledge is concerned- coming out from Marvel. Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy. I am desperately waiting for Divergent this month. I'm getting twitchy. THE TIME IS COMING!

anyways ,, figured while we're waiting .. I'd talk more (when i should shut up i know *sigh* i have issues lol)

I'm 21 .. 3rd year in college .. I go to Zayed University in Abu Dhabi UAE .. majoring in IT enterprise computing .. which is sort of like understanding businesses and how they run .. by which trying to use technology to improve efficiency..

I love to read on my bed .. or sometimes in a nice relaxing bubble bath .. the warmer the better .. my tumblr and instagram accounts are basically fandoms rambling .. or related fan art and sometimes just art and tv show related gifs, updates .. and stuff like that ..


Most of the time you'd find me reading a YA dystopia/fantacy thing .. but sometimes adult books or contemprary chick-lits are something i love to quick read and enjoy ..

I have way too many favs ,, but I wont bore you ..

I also regularly watch the originals (I <3 Klaus) .. Supernatural .. Hart of Dixie .. TVD .. and read naruto/bleach updates as well as the rest of my obsessions

Also love to watch korean dramas .. but I probably saw 5-6 series in total so I wouldn't call myself an expert ..

If you know detective conan (aka case closed) .. then your awesome lol .. (jk) that's what got me to anime ..

mainly my focus are on my books and tv shows now .. but I love all of the above

My hobbies are to read (Duh!), spend all my weekends catching up on Pretty little liars (Dont judge me. I just...watch a lot of angsty TV), wrestling with my 5"9 cousin brother and watch youtube. A lot of youtube.

My favorite youtubers are: Alfie (PointlessBlog), Marcus (Marcus Butler), Jim (Jim Chapman), Zoe (Zoella), Connor (ConnorFranta) and Joe (ThatcherJoe).

My favorite booktubers are Christine (polandbananaaBOOKS), Kat (Katytastic) and Raeleen (padfootandprongs07)


I dont go on social networking sites. I dont know why, but I had a facebook once, but it quickly became boring and I lost interest.

I love collecting books and I currently have over 200 books so WOOHOOO!

My favorite genres are fantasy, dystopia and science fiction. I'll read anything if it has science fiction.

I am one of those people who consider comics are actual book (Well, graphic novels . The title is in the name, yo)

Dont worry Mana, you are not alone. I cant go on and on and on and on about the things I do, the things I like and blah blah blah. Gets pretty boring.

I cant draw to save my life. Yes, I can sing, but I cant play any instruments.

I have thick,dark brown hair which currently reaches up to the hem of my T-shirt. Its reeeaalllyy wavy, but it looks amazing from the back (Im gloating now, Im sorry). Its straight-ish at the top, but it gets super wavy with curls and stuff in the bottom (Sorry. That classifies at mega gloating)

But really, that is the only thing remarkable about me.

I dont watch much Tv (actually any Tv), except Pretty little Liars with was mentioned at the beginning.

So that is me and my hobbies which arent nearly as awesome as yours, Mana, but...Its mine :)

when i'm not reading i'm watching booktubers talk about books .. or am on goodreads trying to find more books to read ..

i think the latest sci-fi (if it counts) i've read was the 5th wave .. I really really liked it and can't wait for the next one ..

lately i've been into fairytale retellings .. so after shadow and bone i think i'll read cruel beauty (beauty and the beast) .. and then read Cress .. until we decided to do another read-along ..

I was thinking about a readathon thing .. where we select multiple books .. all of us read together but at our own time .. and just post when we want to comment or rant or say something .. let's get through this now and if you want .. talk about this later

I loved PLL .. got to halfway to season 2 but later my friend kept trying to spoil me .. which put me off cuz i loathe spoilers :) .. so ya .. safe to say i've been cut off the PLL franchise

btw .. i'll give you guys the next 8 hours and a half to comment on chapters 6-10 before i write my own and keep reading .. the suspence is killing me too you know :(
