I have tried to read this book twice and simply cannot connect to it. I would love to hear other people's opinions. Maybe ya'll will give me a reason to try it for the third time.

Storm Front isn't my favorite of the series. It actually is better in audio then just straight reading the book. Imo the reason people have trouble reading Storm Front is that it is the author's first book and he doesnt know whether he wants to build the world as he goes along or explain all in the first book, it gets to be annoying. I absolutely love the Dresden Files and I can honestly say that Harry is one of my all-time favorite characters. Storm Front may be a trial to get through but it is well worth it.

I love the series and author. I really the books take off at book 3-4. You won't be disappointed with the series.

I am loving Harry but I do feel this book can get tedious.

The first book isn't the best of the series, but the series is awesome!!!! I've gotten many people to read it and love his writing style. I'm currently reading Cold Days (the newest one out #14 i believe) and I suggest just pushing through book one and then you'll be reading away the rest and won't want to put them down.
