Great topics, really excited to talk about the fictional parents one :)

Haha, I was just thinking that myself! It's hard coming up with five that I really liked because most of them were missing, dead, useless, or made me mad (:

I didn't realize it was women's history month when I chose the prompts. Regardless, these prompts are set in stone for the month since a lot of people prefilm this video series. So, I'm definitely not changing it.

I have kept up to date with Top 5 Wednesday topics so far and have pre filmed the sequels one but I'm struggling on the ins and outs of recommend for new readers!
SOS:
Are you guys recommended fun, action packed books or interesting, clever and intense books?
Any help/guidance would be highly appreciated thank you!

This might be a stupid question, but anyway, my excuse will be that I'm not a native English speaker :)
The question then, is it only the second book in a series that is considered a sequel or just any of the upcoming books? For example, is HP and the Deathly Hallows a sequel?
Haha sorry for the stupid question but my choices depend quite heavily on it ^^
Big hugs from Sweden! :)

For me, I am just recommending books for like if one of my friends/coworkers came up to me and asked for a book recommendation. My list won't come from one genre, it'll come from a few.

I know my list is all second books in series. To me, a sequel is considered the second book in a series, but I know it can be different for others. It's up to you, however you feel completes your list =D

I don't think that's a stupid question at all. I think it's up for interpretation though. Like for my video, I did not limit myself to strictly second books. I chose from any book in a series that follows the first one. For example, three of my five books listed are third books in a series, all of which I consider sequels since they follow the first one.

I chose from several different genres, since in general I try to recommend books to people based on their interests. I picked books I really enjoyed that were easy to get into. If you're new to reading, I'd imagine you'd need something easy to get into that picks up fast. Also, I picked books that were influential in helping me get out of reading slumps or books that remind me why I love reading something so much. Hope that helps.

That's something I was wondering about, too and only came here now to see that Amanda already wanted to clear it out. It's great that you decided to include next books in your list, now I know I can do it as well :)
