Wrong date for The Graveyard Book

The first published date that's listed for The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman is Jan 1, 1388. While it's nice (and fitting) to think Neil may have traveled back in time to the turbulent times of Richard II, I think the correct date of publication is Sept 30, 2008.

This edition is the cause of the incorrect date https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8... But for some reason I can't remove the date from the edition and therefore the original date also changes back.

Looks like the edits did go through, actually, on that edition. And they seem to be sticking now.
