So,yes that happened.
I just woke up(its morning here) from another nightmare.
grr stupid brain, had a nightmare last night as well, and went around all day tired. :(

message 853: by W.J. (new)

W.J. Lennox | 100 comments Oda- that sucks! The subconscious is a funny old thing & there's nothing worse than sleep deprivation. I've suffered insomnia since my kids were born. Nowadays I always wake up at some random point in the middle of the night or can't switch off to get to sleep, gah! Hope you manage to catch up on some Zzzz's this weekend :)

message 854: by [deleted user] (new)

Me too...
Luckily my exams dont start unntil a few weeks, and hey, a hand in can be edited later on an exam on the other hand, not so much.
I have been troubled with nightmares for most of my life, mostly I can cope. But this week they have stayed with me,left me tired all day and slightly scared even in the middle of the day :(
Aw well, nothing much to do about it really.

message 855: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Zigler (toriz) | 4472 comments Sorryt o hear that, Oda.

I suffer terribly with nightmares, plus have sleeping issues in general too, so I know how much it sucks. It's always worse when you can't shake the nightmare after you're awake, and are on edge all day (or night, as it sometimes is for me; when my sleep schedule has me sleeping in the day).

I hope you can get some decent sleep soon.

message 856: by [deleted user] (new)

Luckily I woke uptoday and no nightmares :) :;) A great feeling :D

Yay Oda!!

I'm on call 24/7. Luckily there are rarely any emergencies in my line of work. But, last night (this morning actually) at 3:45 a.m., my cell phone rang. And it was NOT classed as an emergency! Hate that! I couldn't go back to sleep either. Ggrrrrr... Thank goodness it's Saturday! Nap this afternoon! ;-D

Marla | 366 comments I'm visiting my new niece (5 months) oh, and my family too...LOL. It's just a whirlwind visit. I'll just be here for 4 days, not long enough to justify flying to Hawaii, but I really wanted to see her before she is too big/old to be held!

But she just got up from her nap, so gotta run. Later...

Storm Arashi (stormarashi) | 1130 comments Dealing with another person incapable of following rules... Had someone tell me and my friend to basically deactivate our ask account because we weren't the characters we were depicting... Told us to grow up after they were whining claiming we were corrupting them or whatever... They were so freaking rude and now they won't stop harassing. Even going as far as to say: "I didn't mean to be mean" and claiming if we unblock her she'll do something for us.

If I wasn't valuing the fact it'd look real crappy on both me and my friend I'd tell her where she can shove her fake apology and it's a place not too pleasant. It's also the place I'd like to shove my foot...

Yeah... Morning's been really freakin' annoying...

It's been dealt with. This person doesn't even know how dA even really works so... Yeah. Dealt with. I don't really care what she does long as she stays away from me.

Marla | 366 comments Hey there, still jet lagged from the 5 hour time difference from Hawaii. It was soooo great to see my family and the new baby. It did make me more determined to live by my (still fictitious) grandchildren.

Babies are sooo adorable and they are only babies for such a brief time. My niece is especially cute and "talks" up a storm in her sweet, noisy 6 month old way.

I loove this list, and yes I would defently look to see if there were any soon realises in the backroom, look for signed copies, replace all the staff picks with my picks, I would hide the books I think are awful and put all the good ones out in the open. I would have a "why, hollywood, why(as in why havent you adapted this yet)" and a "Cw take a look here" , " abc family, something to think about" tables. and yes I would defently do the ladder thing.

And yeah I'd be guilty of hiding all the books I hate. Every. Single. One. Hiding them behind all the books I LOVE... Raiding back room for the win.
