* I hate waiting for next books, so often I read the first book and then wait until a couple of books are out and I read them in spurts. I rarely have a series marathon read (except when the last Harry Potter came out and I reread the whole series). So I read them a couple at a time, but I like spacing out series. Cuz either I'm savoring the experience or I get tired of it and need a break.

Regarding reading books: I read them one after another if they're all available and I have copies of them all, but I don't worry too much about rushing to read books so I can read the new release that everyone's talking about. Sometimes I'll jump on the band waggon and be eager to read a new release (like with David's books) but mostly I read what I want in my own time, and I haven't even read most of the popular new releases, and don't plan to read a large number of them to be honest; some of the books everyone thinks are great don't sound so great to me, and I have loads I want to read already, so won't add books I'm not bothered about reading to my to read list.

Regarding cyber bullying and online friends: people just don't seem able to help themselves. It's like they think because they're harder to identify with being online and not in person they can get away with more. Humans can be spiteful sometimes, and childish too! I lost someone I considered a friend because we disagreed about something stupid and when I said for us to just agree to disagree she didn't like it; I was supposed to just agree with her apparently. Then she decided she'd let me agree to disagree, but she was annoyed with me for disagreeing with her in a public place (comments section of her blog) instead of sending a private message. So I said I was sorry, and she said it was too late to apologize and I was being childish, then she refused to speak to me any more. She was twice my age, and the last thing she told me was that I was being childish. *rolling eyes* I was annoyed and upset for a bit afterwards, but was eventually able to see that if she could toss my friendship aside over something so stupid, then she wasn't really someone I wanted as a friend anyway.

My goal was 300, but I dropped it to 290 a couple of weeks back after a few dry spells put me a good way behind on my goal. I'm now 1 book away from the 290 goal, so I just need to finnish the book I'm reading now to reach it. I only started the book this morning and am already 71% through it, so that shouldn't be a problem; might even get it finnished tonight.
