This class offers intensive instruction in writing non-fiction, expository texts using discourse conventions. Emphasizes many stages of different writing processes, different forms of writing, different portions of the written product, along with different modalities of composing to expand the concept of 'writing'.

Emily smiled. "I love you too." She said wrapping her own arm around his waist. She laughed. "So it seems that I'm walking you to my class?" She teased pulling him in the direction of her writing comp class. They got there before most of the students and she stopped in front of the doorway. "So I'll see you after class? What time does yours end?" She asked knowing that some classes had different schedules.((I gotta go so we'll continue this tomorrow!))
Jamie rolled his eyes, grinning ear to ear as he rattled out protests and excuses. When they finally reached her class, he felt disappointed wih having to leave. "After class," he confirmed reluctantly, turning to face her outside the door. "Ten thirty," he confirmed, having gone brought the trouble do rememeorizing his schedules. "I love you, text me if you need anything,@ he offered, leaning down to kiss her and hugging her waist briefly.
Emily laughed. "Love you too. It's just writing comp Jamie, I doubt I'll need anything." She said returning his kiss. "10:30? I get out at 10." She said. "I'll meet you in the courtyard after you finish?" She suggested. She returned his kiss and hug before pulling away. Students were starting to trickle in the doorway and they were pretty much blocking them. "I also have track practice at 4 today if you wanna come and watch. That is if you have nothing to do." She said.
Jamie nodded in agreement again, memorizing her words with his amazing memory. Ha. "Courtyard, 10:35 ish," he recited, waving with a smile as kids began jostling him as they went inside her class. "I'll watch, I've got water polo at six, so you can come watch me go beast mode," he snickered. Beast mode, definitely. While the rest of the team swam laps and did complicated drills, he had to be doing old lady exercises. Aerobics? It was pathetic and embarassing, but he had to do it.
Emily laughed. "Alright mr. beast, I'll see you at 10:35...ish." She added, a teasing smile on her face. She could see her teacher shuffling papers from her desk and knew she was about to start. "Okay. I gotta go. Love you." She gave him one last kiss before slipping inside the class room and into an empty desk. She felt a little behind in what her teacher was talking about but she kept up as best as she could. Her pencil scratched furiously against her notebook, trying to keep up with the rapid jabber of her teacher. She didn't like using laptops to write her note in. She liked the old fashioned way better. It guaranteed that she wouldn't lose her work.
((When you post we can ff))Jamie walked happily back towards his own lecture hall, his advanced government professor greeting him gladly back into the hall. He had known about Jamie's situation, being part of the LAPD circle as well, and wished Jamie well. He smiled warmly at his professor, moving up to find a seat by his usual spot. The way eberyone greeted him at school made him feel espeacially good, despite the crummy weeks he had had handling pain and forcing down medicine.
Emily's teacher dismissed them and she felt like her brain was going to explode. A lot of people thought that being an English major was easy since all it is is reading and writing but there were so many components to it that you had to remember that no one paid attention to. She checked the time on her phone. 10:05. Half hour before she had to meet Jamie. She picked up her things and hurried out of the classroom to the courtyard to wait for Jamie to show.
Jamie took studious notes, finally sighing with relief when the professor dismissed them. 10:34. Jamie shuffled his things together, hitting himself painfully against his desk in his rush. Even thoug it was customary for Jamie to talk to classmates, he knew Emily was waiting for him. His girlfriend. His closest friends teased him about emily, jogging to keep up with his long strides as he made shortcuts to the courtyard. There she was, waiting fur him. "Go away!" He hissed, grinning ear to ear as his friends pestered him. Alone again, he straightened his appearance before appearing in front of Emily. "Hi," he beamed, kissing Emily's forehead. "Sorry I'm late, professor went over," he explained.
Emily glanced up from her notebook at the sound of footsteps. She grinned when she saw Jamie hurrying across the courtyard. "Hey." She said, closing her notebook. She could work on her essay later. "How was class?" She asked, standing and slipping her arms around his waist, smiling up at him. She wondered if he had any other classes today. Emily had one last class at noon before practice. She hated weekdays. They took away her time with him.
"Class? Ah, it was great, I guess," he shrugged, draping his arm around Emily's shoulders. "And yours?" Be questioned, walking leisurely with Emily by his side. They walked aimlessly around campus, him having an hour break before his next class. It was one of his short days, with only two classes. Too bad water polo was at six, such an odd schedule. "What should we- wanna find some breakfast? I only had that granola bar," he admitted.
"Tedious." Emily said with a shrug. That's how writing always was. Her stomach growled at the mention of food. "Breakfast sounds amazing. I haven't eaten anything today." She had gotten used to getting up and making breakfast for Jamie in the mornings and now that she was starting to revert back to her old routine her stomach was protesting. "What did you have in mind?" She still had an hour and fifteen minutes before her next class and didn't mind where they went.
(( where? I'll reply when I get home I'm focusing on my other rp, remind me to reply after schools out))
