How to delete a GR group?

Hello. I'm hoping someone can assist me. I am a mod in a Goodreads group that I'd like to delete, due to redundancy. I can't seem to find a setting to delete a group in the mod info. Can anyone please tell me how to do so? Many thanks!

Yes, go to to settings from the panel, then scroll to the bottom of the page. Under save you will see delete this group. The group is now in queue for deletion. It takes time for it to be deleted.

Hi again Ellie. I just gave it a shot and "delete this group" doesn't appear for me under "save." Nothing appears. Could it be because I'm only one of several mods? Perhaps another mod has to do the deletion? I appreciate your help! :)

It is the owner only that has the ability to delete. You have to ask them to either delete the group or leave it. If they are not active on GR you can contact support by email and they will look into it (kick out the mod, or delete the group)

I do advise you whatever happens to send a message to everyone in the group that you will delete it.

Edit: Another way to delete a group is to kick everyone out, but I don't think you will manage to kick out the "owner".

This is not a Librarians Group issue, but one for the Feedback Group. Librarians can help with issues pertaining to specific book records or most related issues, but have no control over general site functionality or related issues. Closing thread.
