Solved: Kids sent to island. YA Dystopian [s]

This is a pretty recent dystopian book. I read it within the last couple months and returned it to the library and now for the life of me can't remember the title.

The book is set in a United States of the future where the ruler of the country is almost worshiped. The main characters parents were taken away when she was young and she was raised as an orphan.

Now she's going through a process to weed out the bad seeds. She is knocked unconscious with drugs and sent to an island that has two groups. One group seems to have a leader who is worshiped and the other seems to be a down to earth group trying to survive.
