I don't have any the books in the series yet Kathryn. If I get them, I can read with you in April! :)Glad you could join us Alley! :)
I really liked this book, though the second one is much better! I hope y'all enjoy! (And let me know what you think of the inconsistencies between whether it's kids under the age of 14 or under the age of 16 who were immune: Editing error or intentional?)
I'm starting this when I get the chance. I have to catch up with my other buddy reads and do my accounting homework.
Yeah as it should. :) I'm really behind in my schedule now but at least I'm enjoying this book haha.
I know what you mean by being behind schedule! Ugghh. Hopefully I finish it tonight, or if not, at least tomorrow morning. Haha!Good luck Maddison! We can do this! :p
I think I've seen you post it somewhere, but I haven't really looked. I'm behind schedule as well, and I'm starting another buddy read tomorrow. I'll catch up!! :P
Haha I was meant to start a book yesterday but I'm still reading this one. Tomorrow I'm starting another and the day after I'm starting 2 more.
FINISHED!(view spoiler)
@Caitlin, I've been thinking about it too! It says on the blurb that it's under 14 but in the book, it actually was 16. Deliberate or typo? Hmmmmm.

I'm going to be reading the first three books in the series, which I own, and if I like them then I'll continue on and purchase the rest :)

They'll rip you open.
They'll feed on you . . .
When the sickness came, every parent, policeman, politician — every adult — fell ill. The lucky ones died. The others are crazed, confused and hungry.
Only children under fourteen remain, and they're fighting to survive.
Now there are rumours of a safe place to hide. And so a gang of children begin their quest across London, where all through the city — down alleyways, in deserted houses, underground — the grown-ups lie in wait.
But can they make it there — alive?
Join Kathryn and I as we read this book!
