Félix (habitseven) Cool.

message 502: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Jammies, can you send me there too? I'll think of a way to insult you while I'm there. :-)

message 503: by Jammies (new)

Jammies New rule--only one boy at a time behind the ficus. So when Larry're ready to come back and behave, you can be bad and get sent behind the houseplant.

message 504: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Jammies is kind of bossy. I can respect that.

I think I should be grandfathered under the old rule!

Normally I could to, but this is the ficus we are talking about.

Félix (habitseven) Cynthia wrote: "Jammies is kind of bossy. I can respect that."

Me too. I kinda likes it.

message 508: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments All of the good women are bossy, she said in a know-it-all tone of voice. We mean business.

message 509: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Way to exert your authority Cynthia.

Jammies Cynthia wrote: "Jammies is kind of bossy. I can respect that."

Jammies is not kind of bossy. Jammies is a potential dictator who only lacks any kind of power.

JIM! IT'S NOT YOUR TURN. GET OUT OF THAT CORNER!

*cracks whip*

message 511: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Whoa, she ain't messing around any more.

::quickly sets down beer and steps away from the ficus::

message 512: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Jammies, are you having a bad day?

message 513: by Phoenix (new)

Phoenix (phoenixapb) | 1619 comments Jammies, what type of whip are you wielding...cat o' nine, bull whip, is it more of a flogger, or something else entirely?

message 514: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Cynthia, I'm having a bad week, but really, I've always been bossy--comes from being the oldest child.

Alecia, don't tell the guys, but (view spoiler).

Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 1970 comments I dreamed that my mom moved without telling me her new address and phone number. When I finally reached her she told me she moved to Newburyport. I pointed out to her she moved leaving all her friends behind. I asked her if she had found any bingo games and she said she only played once a month. (she always played 4 x/wk). I told her I was coming down to see if she was okay because clearly, she had lost her mind. My mom has been dead for 20 years.

Jammies I am the oldest also. I have two younger brothers. Believe me, I understand the responsibility this carries. It is our cross to bear.

message 519: by Jammies (new)

Jammies I have two younger brothers also, Cynthia!

message 520: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Then we are like sisters, Jammies. Older, wiser, fabulous sisters.

Carol | 1678 comments Jammies, I am sorry you had a bad week. Your bossiness meets with my approval any old time, though.

I so read this as, "Is there a bias toward sluts?"

message 523: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Sluts have it all figured out.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Good. Someone needs to be leading the rest of us blind folks.

message 525: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) True.

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments I had a harrowing dream. I worked in the White House. My boss was a chubby Hispanic man who resembled Gabrielle Giffords' intern--the one who helped save her life. He was kind and wore a suit. One night, we worked late, there was some type of crisis.

The next morning, I came to work early and my boss was crying. I hugged him and he said, "They are gone." Who is gone, I asked. "The Obamas. They are dead--all four of them." We had to decide how to break the news to the American people and the world. We were so incredibly sad, so very sad.

janine | 7709 comments someone said i had nice shoulders and in the dream that was one of the few parts of my body that wasn't surgically altered.

in another dream i was in the US and i was excited to meet some TC friends, but no one was prepared to tell me where we were or where we were going so that didn't work out. then TC gave me a virtual surprise party :)

Also alarming. But not as alarming as Cynthia's.

I almost never remember my dreams but last night I dreamed me and my wife were going to see the "Cut the Crap"-era Clash (you know, without Mick Jones) and as soon as we was hauling ass inside the door of the Masonic Temple because we were late, I woke up in a cold sweat.

Remind me to never combine fried shrimp and Michelob Ultra again. Or anything and Michelob Ultra again.

message 533: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Does Michelob Ultra contain hallucinogens?

message 534: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Janine!

message 535: by Jammies (new)

Jammies I had a dream that I and some other TCers were cuddle therapists--we gave hugs to sad, depressed, scared people.

message 536: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Sounds lovely.

Does panther piss count as a hallucinogen?

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Umm. Not sure, Clark.

Phil | 11837 comments Panther piss. hehehe.

That's dad's name for his ultra-cheap scotch. He won't drink the good stuff. He says he's just fine with his panther piss.

Sarah | 13814 comments I had a dream last night that there was a new flavor of Trident Layers by the checkout stand:
peanut butter- nutella.

'Cause that's what you want in a gum.

Félix (habitseven) I had a vivid dream the other night about someone with whom I got in touch that day on FB -- someone I hadn't seen for over 25 years. It seemed as though she was in several dreams all through the night.

message 542: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Cats are a frequent dream theme for me. Typically I find cats in my attic or a room off the basement that I did not realize were there--I become overwhelmed with guilt for not feeding them any earlier and not taking them to the vet.

Last night, I was back in high school, scrambling to get to homeroom in time to feed my cat, which I was keeping in my locker. Fortunately, my locker was the size of a small closet, but I did not have enough time to brush the cat and change her litter box without rising detention from my homeroom teacher. Mr. Stone taught architectual drawing and was quite stern.

I dreamed I went back to my grandmother's little hometown with my father. She was alive (she's been dead for awhile). I went down into her basement (her real house had no basement) and found, in clear plastic bags but kind of cobwebby, some old books from my childhood that a few days earlier I had added to the GR database.

Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 1970 comments I dreamed I visited my son in San Francisco with my ex (only we were still married) and stole his cooking equipment also visited my favorite spots in san francisco.

message 545: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) I must have been hungry last night because I dreamt that I was about to order lunch. The person ahead of me asked for a chili dog. It looked really good, so when I approached the counter, I said, "I'll have a chili dog too." The cook put a hotdog on my plate and condiments on the side and then handed it to me. "Isn't it supposed to have chili on it?" She pulled the hotdog off and started to eat it. "Ok, I'll just have chili, then." She scooped something on my plate. When she handed it to me, I could see it was hamburger and tomatoes. I handed it back, "Could you put some beans with it?" She scooped up some pork and beans and heaped it onto the plate. It was piled with food and I went to join my friends at a table.

Ha ha.

I dreamed my next door neighbor and some male, either her brother or friend, sort of forced themselves inside my abode. (Like, I had opened the door, and they pushed past me.) Before I could stop him, he immediately went to use the bathroom.

message 549: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) He was a man in need! At least he didn't pee off your porch.

message 550: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Yeah but her front door is, like, 3 feet from mine. He could've peed in her abode.
